If you want quality products that do what you need them to do and keep on doing it then ac infinity is the brand to go with. Their products just feel like quality and they perform just as good as they feel. I’m so glad they have focused so much on their line of indoor gardening equipment because it gives growers a high quality option. Anyway, these mats are perfect! I grow thousands of out her plant seedlings and I prefer to use a heat mat while germinating them. The past few mats have fallen short because they use a thermostat that must be inserted into the soil to read the temp. While this may not seem like a big deal, I’ve had the sensor come out before and narrowly avoided frying my seedlings! These mats however use a dial that you can tune to perfectly set your desired temperature (I use a laser thermometer for soil temps) not only is that helpful but it makes it much simpler to achieve your desired results. Another thing I really like about these mats is they are not bulky at all. The technology they use is infrared and not heat coils. Which means it’s EVEN HEAT and with no hot spots like coil mats have. I feel like that’s a much safer option as heat coils, while rare, can short out. They do take slightly longer to reach peak heat but does a few extra minutes really matter when germinating seeds? Not really. If you are looking for a high quality heat mat that will outperform any others you’re going to find, just do yourself a favor and go with these. They won’t disappoint!!

I got these to grow mushrooms. The mats are large and seem very sturdy. The controls consist of a simple dial with "low" "medium" and "high." I set mine on medium to test it out and after about 10 minutes, it was warming up, though not too hot. These should work well for growing mushrooms or for any kind of seed sprouting.

These seedling mats are a nice large size, and easily fit two of those standard square seed starting trays. My seeds germinated quickly and grew heartily. I love the adjustable temp options, the control is placed well and easy to adjust, which allows them to be much more versatile in a variety of uses. After my plants went outside, I was also able to use one to hatch baby brine shrimp to feed my newly hatched fish, and the other to warm bread dough, to increase the yeast activity. For anyone who bakes, warming butter and other ingredients on these can be very convenient. The mats feel heavier duty than others I’ve used, and are smoother when laid flat, and are very easy to clean and sterilize. The price was fair. I’ve purchased from this company before and always enjoy the quality. One mat does get a bit warmer than the other, and that’s the only thing that throws me off with these. I don’t know if this is a common issue, or if one has a flaw, or even if they all have some variation.

When starting seeds early, like February in Minnesota, this is a game changer. I put these in a room I don't heat to save energy and these still allowed the seedlings to grow up nice and strong! Now I have a beatifully producing garden earlier than my other Minnesota friends. Tomatoes in June? Yes, please! The guide is handy to see how hot to set it, and I eventually turned it down a little to help the plants get used to being outside in cooler evenings. Performance was stellar. Pro tip: The mats fit perfectly into a 50 gallon fish tank if you have a cat that likes to eat seedlings.

I first bought some RK link on here. There was no control [which I knew] but they did not get very warm/hot. The minor extra cost for the Suncore is well worth it. If later I need to move them to the basement or garage for space, this puts out the higher needed heat. I am very pleased with these. A much better option.

These worked well to assist with germinating my peppers and tomato seeds.

I like the method these pads use to heat vs the ones with wire or whatever that creates hot or cold spots. With the temp dial to regulate the heat it really isn't that much more than others with adjustable heat levels and a lot better quality.

You get two of them . They work extremely well. I use these under 1020 trays and they fit perfectly to keep those little plants babies warm enough to germinate. The temperature control is pretty great to have and you can fit two of them on a wire shelf of 2x4. You can also use these for fermentation and I have used these to speed on some ferments of sauce and Kimchi.
