Watkins Orange Cocktail Bitters, 11 oz.

This is by far the best bitters I have used and will now be my go to for every old fashioned I make!

I can't tell the difference in my Manhattans between it and the other stuff--and it's a lot cheaper.

My husband is very particular about his drinks and tends to be very loyal to familiar brands. However, our usual bitters brand was going to take three weeks to get here, and Watkins arrival estimate was a few days. Since Watkins Pure Vanilla Extract is my go to, I figured their bitters would be equally good, and I was right! The smell is amazing and I personally prefer the taste over our usual brand, and my husband is quite impressed with it as well. It's also a larger quantity for less than our normal brand which is always a good thing.

I bought it hoping the orange flavor could be used in seafood soups. Knowingly not a legitimate use of the product. Too bitter for soups. Gave it to a friend whose bar needed a jar of bitters. He was delighted.

Very intense bitter orange flavor! I was worried the bottle would arrive broken but it was A-OK! I bought some regular Woodford orange/cherry cocktails bitters before....it was fine...but this is more focused on the orange and the 50% alcohol content helps. It has a nice pour regulator unlike some other brands!

I put this in my coffee. Bitters are supposed to be good for digestion. The smell is just wonderful, unlike some other bitters that have a chemical smell. Will be buying again, though this large bottle will last quite a while.

I ran out of Angostura, and tried this Watkins Bitters. We buy the Watkins vanilla extract which is a great product so tried the bitters. Very good alternative to the other way more expensive brand.
