One Second Slicer - All in One Vegetable Slicer and Food Preparation Station

The only problem I found is that when people see me using mine, they love it so much I’ve promised to give them one as a gift. It’s super easy to use and it saves you tons of time in the kitchen, let alone being so satisfying to chop veggies in this thing!

I bought this product for use at home a few years ago from Ross without giving it much thought but it quickly became a go to item in my kitchen. So much so that I shared a bit of my coveted counter space in my small, inner city apartment. That’s a big deal! I volunteer with a ministry that serves meals and I was always tasked with cutting the veggies for the salad. The leader was very particular about the size and uniformity of the veggies so I started taking my slicer with me to make things quicker and easier. One day, the leader asked me if she could keep it! I was reluctant at first but, WWJD? Lol, so I gave it away. From that point, life wasn’t the same. I quickly realized my pre slicer life was no longer the life I wanted to live. I check several Ross and Marshalls stores to no avail. So I scoured my home for the original box and ordered one on amazon. One of my best decisions to this day! Cleaning it it easy. The button on top is the real game changer. No problems with rusting or dullness. Fast and efficient. Nothing fancy. It just gets the job done!

I have had one of these slicers for several years and use it almost daily in my kitchen. It is outstanding for chunking, cubing, or slicing vegetables such as beets, carrots, celery, onions, or potatoes. I also use it to cut potatoes for French fries. It is super easy to clean as well.

I like this slicer for what it does, but am disappointed in its limited use. It is as easy to use as the video shows, which makes chopping most vegetables very quick. (It chopped cherry tomatoes well, but unless a large tomato is very firm it will just make a mess of it) There are only two sizes for the chopping attachment and neither are quite what I would like for certain things. The smaller half does not chop as small as I would like my onions to be for some recipes, but is a little small for making French fried potatoes, The larger size is good for chopping vegetables for stew, but makes cheese cubes that are too big. If there was another attachment that addressed these problems, I would like this slicer very much. It is sturdy, and it cleans and stores easily.

I use this slicer to cube the Howies sausage type dog treats. This gadget is easy to take apart and washes easily in the top rack of the dishwasher. It also functions as a mandolin and the bottom doubles as a storage container.

I use this chopper all the time for soups and stir fry. I broke the blades on one because I was cutting too thick pieces of carrot at one time, too much pressure. (Would love it if you could get replacement blade sections) I replaced the first one with a Kitchen Aid brand and it broke the first week I used it and I was being careful ?!? (I hated cleaning out the vegetable debris with a little fork gadget) So I bought this one from Amazon because I love the button on the top that you just press to clean out the debris. I just put it in the top shelf of the dishwasher. I will buy it again in a heartbeat.

I bought this to supplement my five second slicer. Unfortunately these are a different size (larger) and not interchangeable as I had hoped. The pieces seem fine and offer a range of options for slicing and dicing.

I saw these advertised on tv but it wasn't until I saw it actually used by someone on a tv news show that I was sold on it. Bought it for my wife who loves it and uses it all the time. The different sizes of cutting options make for a versatile product. It is surprisingly rugged and cleans up easily. My wife got a small net bag that contains everything and allows the parts to dry after use. This is one of those "as seen on tv" products that actually work as advertised and worth buying.
