Do the games snap/lock in? I purchased another case and the games just sit in it loose, which feels absolutely awful for travel.

They snap in extremely tight, actually. I have large fingers and sometimes it can be a little difficult to pry the games lose. The case holds them very snug.

I'm looking for a case that has similar dimensions to the solo cases the games come in. How does this compare? What are the dimensions?

This case isnt even half the size of a solo case. Length wise is about 4.5 inches width about 2.5 inches and depth about an inch. of its thicker than the solo case but a lot smaller.

How well does it travel when you take it on vacation?

The case is pretty tough I've traveled with it to Hawaii it held up no problems on airplane
