Caterpillar Men's Trademark Stretch-Fit Cap

I like logo hats and safety products. I expected this hat to be something I could wear a couple times before finding a newer or better hat. Surprisingly, this hat has surpassed my expectations. To begin with, this hat came with a good full curve in the bill. I occasionally reinforce the curve with some gentle flexing, but it hasn't really needed it. Secondly, the hat wants to be round. Many caps are made of soft or flexible material that takes on whatever shape you give it at any time. Not this hat. The material is firm polyester, and the hat needs little encouragement to retain its round nature. Third up, it fits my big head well. I don't know if different heads will find the hat uncomfortable, but I can comfortably wear it high and angled or smashed low. (See my pics.) I usually cant wear high-domed ball caps smashed low because they press on my temples, but this cap is very comfortable in that position. On the downside, the hat is made in China, but that's hardly a surprise these days. Additionally, there are several sewn-in tags. You'll probably need to remove some of them.

I bought this hat to keep the sun out if my eyes while I run equipment at my construction job. The hat fits well, looks cool, and is very well made. After a week of 90° weather I washed the hat and it practically dissolved, the fabric lost color and the headband on the back frayed out so much I can no longer clip it. Great hat but I wouldn't suggest wearing it anywhere other than the bar

My husband drives a CAT tractor trailer, we bought this cap for his birthday. He LOVES it, just as much as he LOVES his CAT tractor trailer!!! There is an adjustable band in the back to assist with the perfect fit. The colors are true to the picture, visibly clear lettering with no concerns with the stitching of the different color threads. The price for this cap is very reasonable and delivery from Amazon was on time. We would definitely recommend you purchase this cap.

I really like this hat. I bought it mainly for the colors, as I wear hats all the time now, but I like Caterpillar machines and so I'm proud to wear the hat and it looks great.

I couldn't think of a headline for this review so I simply wrote "The hat is adjustable". In my part of the country none of the retail stores or even the outdoors specialty stores had any CAT hats in stock. I mainly wanted one because one of my favorite entertainers, Ray Stevens, wears one when he performs some of his comedy songs. I'd never wanted one before and I'd been a fan of Ray for more than 30 years but out of the blue I decided I'd go and get a CAT hat but then, like I mentioned, there weren't any available in any retail stores in my area. So, I ordered one on Amazon.
