The fruit is very similar to Hass but with wider shoulders and black skin at maturity. Larger fruit and matures later than Hass (June-July). It is more productive, more tolerant to winds, to high temperatures and persea mite than Hass. Review: Arrived in good condition, planted and growing, but too soon for any fruit - This small tree arrived in good condition, and I planted it a few months ago. It is growing fine, but it looks like there won't be any fruit this year, as it is still too small. I might update the review next year, when it has had some time to grow. Note that there was some synthetic material around the base of the trunk, and I thought it should be removed, but when I went to remove it, I realized it was there to protect the grafting of the avocado tree to whatever kind of tree the bottom is. I might have damaged it a little before realizing the added material should be left on it, but that was a few months ago, and the tree looks healthy and growing since then, so probably OK.
