This light is really really cool. It was purchased as a gift for someone with vision issues who needs good light to write and do art. The person did not think they needed this light but then they tried it and fell in love with it! The only thing we didn't love was that the controls are on the cord instead of the base. All else is very good. There are lighting settings to choose from and the maneuverability of the neck and the lamp heads is excellent giving the artist a lot of versatility to get the light in just the right place! This is such a good light that it is also what we are going to give great grandma for Christmas. Kids like it too. Not sure lights are usually very exciting, but this one was. Love it.

I purchased this primarily for added task lighting for my model ship building. It provides a great deal of quality light that can be adjusted for brightness, angle and white balance. I could not be more pleased with my purchase! It is sturdy, well built, flexible and simply a great task light.

I'm using this lamp for jigsaw puzzles, which I do on a large puzzle board on top of a card table. There's no room on the table for a lamp, so I have this set up on a side table. It's tall enough to work properly in my setting, and it's easy to fold it up out of the way when the puzzle table is moved away. I've only used it on the brightest setting, but that's very nice - and I like LOTS of light on my puzzles. I especially like the two, independently-adjustable bulb bars. It makes finding just the right set-up easy. The base is nice and heavy, so there's no stability problem even with the arms extended to their max.

I am buying this again, only because I can not find some specific needs. What I do like: 1. I like the adjustable height to get over my monitors. I have roughly 18"-20" need to clear the top of my monitors and video camera. This works very well. 2. I like that the two LED lights/elements can rotate indepently and get the light placement where I want it. Important while on Zoom calls or doing non computer related work. Once I found he sweet spot, this is really the only adjustment I ever make on this. 3. Overal unit is very adjustable from front to back. Since I use two monitors, they are angled towards me....this light can reach out far enough to clear my monitors and provide some light (not in my face) on my work surface. 4. Good dimming options and light warmths. 5. it comes with both base and clamp mount. I can only use the base. There are other units that have the features I really like more than this and are $10-$15 cheaper, but are clamp mount only. 6. I know this works for my set up. What I don't like. 1. The light switch/dimmer/controller is on the end of the cord and hangs too low.....I zip tied it to frame of the light. I would like one on top of the unit. 2. All of the springs and arms.....looks like an erector set. I would like a slimmer version. Could not find one so back to this one. 3. Price is too high for what you're buying. 4. It only lasted 3 years.

I looked at several lamps with this same style. I wanted one that I didn’t have clamp on my desk. This brand offers levels of brightness and both heads are can be moved to adjust the focus of lamp. It woks well with Zoom and I’ve had for a few months and no problems.

This product is exactly what I was looking for. It is easy to assemble, has two options for mounting with the clamp. I use the base to stand it up and I find it to be very stable. The brightness and color of the lamps have a wide range of adjustments. Because it has two lamps there are no shadows on my work area. It sits behind my monitor out of the way.

Holy craaaap I love it. Cons: The lower arm doesn't bend backwards/lower as much as I want it to. This is personal preference only. Pros: Everything. The lights are bright enough for any project. Dimmable to a level that it won't hurt sensitive eyes in the dark. You can one-finger adjust the whole arm to any position *and it will stay there.* The bars can be spun in their mounts, i use this to angle the light away from my eyes and also light my project from multiple angles. Managing hard to see tiny parts+reflection with ease. Included clamp has 4, yes 4 attachment points. Only gripe is I wish the jaws were larger. (It's just under 3" wide, 4" would have been perfect.) TLDR: Just try it out I highly doubt you'll be dissapointed. Never thought I'd enjoy a lamp so much.

While I appreciated how I could adjust this lamp to all kinds of different angles and lighting situations, this wasn't really bright enough for me. It says it' uses 24W, but it is about the same or even less bright than another LED lamp that I have that uses a single 9W bulb. The construction of the arm is a bit flimsy, but that lamp is so lightweight that it's OK. Heavier construction would mean it's more likely to tip over. The weighted base worked well, and I much prefer that over the clamp that most of the other lights of this type use. The adjustable temperatures (warmth vs cool tone) of the light is a great feature, I just wish it was brighter.

Design: 5/5 (First time I see a desk lamp with two lights) Build Quality: 5/5 (So much better than that Globe Electric desk lamp I returned) Material Quality: 5/5 (Again, so much better than that Globe Electric desk lamp I returned, high quality materials, may not be premium but definitely fits well in a professional setup) You get what you paid for, lessons learnt. Very happy with this product. Those cheap Globe Electric desk lamps are junks period. I mean yes the price of this desk lamp is doubled comparing with the Globe Electric desk lamps, but it is like 6 times better in all aspects. Well worth the money.

Love it! Low setting is quite bright, high setting is making my hair grow back while I sit under it tying flies!! Awesome light kinda pricey but seems well built.

We were looking for a piano light and wanted one with this particular spring mechanism as I find them easy to position and relatively versatile. The lamp comes with a fairly heavy round base that is nice. The lights have several temperatures and brightness levels. I think the main drawback is that it's not a very elegantly designed lamp. It's very utilitarian, which is fine if you don't care about looks and just want a practical lamp that you can angle and move for best lighting. The only other thing I would wish this has is a remote. At this price point, I don't see why one can't be provided!

My husband builds models and loves this light. He can position it however he wants to best light up his models without it shining in his eyes or getting in the way.
