It's a great shade of blue
I love this filament, I've bought 9 rolls of it several different colors. When they were out of stock in the black I bought some from makerbot, come to find out they both are actually made by the same manufacturer and they are identical in every way, except Makerbot charges $15 more. Seriously the plastic holder reels are the same, the filament is the same, the barcode labels, the sealed plastic bag, even the desiccant is the same. And yes, I posted this same review on each of the colors I've bought.

DeltaMaker Light Blue PLA Filament
Looks just like MakerBot filament, but the vacume sealed bag was leaked. The material seems like it has reach it's shelf life, material gums up if the design is too detailed. I use the same design with MakerBot filament with no problems I have tryed different approaches with the problems I have had with this material with no luck, so I use it only for bull work. Don't trust it for multiple runs, and extruded text. I will just purchase filament from MakerBot, they have a control over the filament and material engineers, plus I can call or send it back once it is open so they can investigate issues.

poor quality
I've found DeltaMaker brand filament to be poor quality in every color I've used. I have a Makerbot Replicator 2 (doesn't have a heated bed) and I generally set the temperature of the extruded to between 210 and 230 for printing PLA. I thought this filament was what I had been getting from MakerShed, but at a way better price. It turns out that the price is better for a reason.

I dont like it.
This is my first PLA spool i've had. I printed half already and learned allot. I dont like it because it starts to get soft at 90c. This create many problems such as nozzle gets jammed starting next print (sometimes when allot of retraction took place it does that) PLA does not like to be retracted too often, ABS does not care how often you retract it. PLA has worse sticking abilities then ABS, but its not curling up on corners as ABS does. PLA gets very hard when cooled, but so is ice cream and just like ice cream it melts at low temperatures. This particular PLA prints at 210c. No layers separations with semigloss finish. 220c will give you gloss finish. 200c will give u matte finish, so there. This particular PLA is $20 on ebay on sale. I dont know why it cost double of that here on Amazon. 1 advice for those who print with PLA and has trouble. Nozzle is the biggest issue here. Nozzle needs to have cooling in place, not model cooling but nozzle cooling. E3D nozzles are great just for that. They cost around $70 USD and located in Atlanta GA. its a US distributor for E3D nozzles. Cooling will prevent nozzle from getting jammed because filament will be cool and rigid all the way down until it touches the tip of the nozzle, thats the greatest invention with nozzles so far. I am done with this particular brand. Its good. Color and diameter are consistent but price is double.

I've used DeltaMaker PLA since day one of owning my printer and have not had a single problem with this material. It prints without any hassle and have never had a single jam.

High Quality PLA
Very high quality. Consistent diameter and extrudes just fine on a Printrbot simple @ 200C. Don't go cheap on the filament. This stuff is excellent.
