Nutritious, delicious, healthy How did you come up with the idea for this product? America is having a health crisis. Incidents of childhood obesity, type-2 diabetes and heart disease continue to rise. The numbers, if you look into them, are staggering and the costs in dollars and quality of life are immense. KNOW Foods was started to help address this health crisis. Looking at what Americans eat, we realized that a ubiquitous staple of the American diet, bread, was discretely contributing to our health problems. In general, bread is highly processed, low in nutritional value and full of carbohydrates that spike blood-glucose levels and is found at breakfast, lunch and dinner. We decided to “build a better bread.” What makes your product special? Working with a chef and a food scientist, we “reimagined” bread. We eliminated the main ingredient, grain-based flour, and replaced it with nutrient packed healthy foods. Through “bread reimagined,” we were able to create KNOW Better Bread - a delicious, wholesome, nutritious alternative to bread - one with no grains, no GMOs, no dairy, no soy, no artificial ingredients and no unnecessary fillers. What has been the best part of your startup experience? We truly love what we do. We are incredibly fortunate to be producing products that are both nutritious and delicious. It has been extraordinarily rewarding to consistently hear consumers praise the taste and texture of our products knowing they are being evaluated against a celebrated staple of the American diet, grain-based breads.

I typical love gluten free bread
I typical love gluten free bread, but this wasn't a bun. It is too sweet and too dense, almost like a muffin. For breakfast it will be fantastic, but does not pair well with many things typically put on a bun.

These were good!
I cut each of these buns in half and pan-toasted them in butter. They were delicious prepared this way, with no negative digestive after-effects. These are the best paleo bread options I have found.

Do not buy! Mold on the item when they arrived.
Do not purchase. We opened the item the same day they arrived and there was mold on the buns. Complete waste of money. They went straight in the garbage.

They taste like a bun made of cornbread
I'm paleo and these are a huge treat. They taste like a bun made of cornbread. I will definety be buying these again and again. They are a little expensive but it's a specilty item so I would expect that.

Suprisingly Not Bad at All
Now this was not what I had expected but it was not horrible, I liked it warmed up on the flat grill and brushed with ghee. I will be trying some the other products, I think when you are trying to eat healthy we need to have a open mind and a diverse palette.

Kind of like a slightly sweet english crumpet!! Definietly a taste you will either love or hate!
I am a vegan and try to eat primarily gluten free foods. I was very curious to try these. At first bite, I realized that for most, these buns are a "love or hate them" kind of thing.....I could not decide, personally. They are really hearty, fill you up, have a lot of fiber, but they definitely have a (mild) sweetness to the taste, so there are certain foods they taste best with. They are much thicker than the consistency of a regular bun. They kind of remind me of a english crumpet. They do taste great toasted. Again, it's one of those things you will either love or hate. Needless to say I did not hate them, but I will probably not purchase again, but, I am not much of a bread eater anyways, so that may partially be why.

Not entirely keto-friendly, but solid
Giving it a review based on the fact that they tasted pretty good- but the macros are not good for someone on a keto diet like myself. Too many carbs, and being listed at half a bunh is a little crazy. But then again, when you look at the buns, you would NOT want to use 2 for a burger- they are THICK.If you split it in half, its pretty good for avocado toast or an egg topper. If there were fewer carbs/bun it'd be a full-go for me

Decent buns, but dense on the stomach
The flavor of these buns is pretty tasty, but man, they are dense on the stomach. Seems like it takes forever for me to digest them. I guess that's because of all the plant protein sources used to make them. I find they taste better if toasted. I would consider these an occasional purchase for my household. They are okay, but not great.
