What Exactly this pill for??

It helps with 2 things Hipo-thyroid symptoms Pre-Menopausal symptoms I'm 42 and have been feeling way way better!!

Does one capsule contain 540 mg of black cohosh root or must you take the recommend daily dose of 3 capsules to get the total of 540 mg?

I assume since it says on the bottle "serving size" 1 capsule ....and amount Per serving "540" mg... 1 capsule is 540 MG ... If you want to double check there is an 800 number on the bottle

Is this the Black Cohosh extract at 40mg?

I ordered Black Cohosh Root, by Natures Way, 180 Capsules, Certified 540mg, 1 capsule 3 time daily preferably with a meal.

Do the pills give you any kind of after taste?

There is a very slight smell/taste while they are in your mouth, but I would say even that it is gone after the glass of water. Because I am taking other supplements besides Nature's Way Black Cohosh Root I am drinking a full 8oz glass of water. Even if it were bitter I would take it! I know that my FREEDOM from hot flashes and night sweats would be worth a little bitterness. But fortunately there is little taste to it :D
