Tough blade
I purchased these blades to clear out a vacant lot. In some spots the vines, weeds and grass were 4 feet tall. Ended up cutting nearly a half-acre with just 1 of the 2 blades. Cut through some maybe 1" diameter trees and liked it cut right through all the vines, it was pretty bad out there, but it did the job. Never would have got it done with a regular weed eater. Installation was just as easy, just removed the weed eater attachment put on the nut and done. Definitely will get more when I need them.

Fits Milwaukee M18 string trimmer.
This kit contains everything needed to fit the m18 Milwaukee string trimmer. My string trimmer is a first gen, non quik-lok, and this worked perfectly. Also it has plenty of power to cut any kind of brush and small trees/saplings. I cut a 3” tree and the only time it has a problem is when you get to the end of the cut and the tree begins to pinch the blade otherwise it cuts through everything like butter. I chose to keep the guard on my trimmer but I would recommend putting a small notch in it so the blade doesn’t drag against it. You could get away without notching it but the blade makes a hellacious sound when it drags across the guard. I highly recommend this if you want to clear brush without buying an expensive upgrade.

80 tpi not optimal.
Not very good for cutting small saplings and roots of bushes and the like. It's probably good for cutting things but not for the brush cutting on my property in Central Arkansas. I believe 10X60 would be much better. 10X80 is just too fine of a cut and the blade starts to burn through. Cut diameter no larger than about 2" and it seems to take twice as long as a 60 t. p. i. blade. Best to use the 3 bladed head. At least thats been my experience.

Great starter kit for a person trying this for the first time
The kit allowed me to easily install the blade after removing the trimmer cord module. (Remember this is reverse threaded!!!) The blade cut through lots of weeds and brush very easily. It kept going great even after I hit a few rocks. There may be better blades out there, but these are very effective -- except for extremely thick grass. You will be pleased with how much you can get done with these -- and you have a kit and extra blade for the same cost as a single one of the Renegade blades. I may try one of the more expensive blades sometime, but now I have an installation kit and Amazon has allowed me to get started without paying high shipping costs. I would try this for me first go at this and I am going to think very hard about trying anything else -- even if I don't need any more installation kits.

Cheaply made
These are hard to get lined up perfectly so they are not off center, they need a better design. Also, they do not last long for sharpness. If you happen to hit a stone while cutting the blades bend easily causing machine to vibrate a lot. They come with 2 blades and I used both on my 2 acre pond and only got halfway done. Both blades are shot already. They did cut through saplings when sharp though. I used a Stihl weedwhacker for these.

Bad choice by me
Done too much vibration on the Steele weedeater. I didn’t care much for it.

Works great for light brush and easy to install!
This was easier to install that I thought it would be. It took a little to ensure the blade was on straight, for some reason every time i tightened it down it would get out of alignment, but by the third try it was on correctly and worked great. Easily cut through some very thick overgrowth made of up a mix of vegetation including 1/4" brush and the blade went through it without issue. Will update if anything changes. wear proper shoes and safety glasses because this is literally a spinning saw blade.

Lots of different attachments for lots of tools. Fit my Stihl straight stick perfect. Chopped through weeds like a hot knife through butter. Put your steel toe cap boots on. This thing could do some serious damage.

These are really thin and flimsy and dull quickly. I'm not sure what would happen at high speed, I never tried them at high speed. What is good is that they are light weight so I can slide my handle bars up the shaft and get the blade down near the ground and still be well balanced. My Stihl FS 131 with the string head without the shield forces the handle bar to be slide so far down the shaft that I can't stand up straight. These blades run a just above an idle work great for grass and briars without covering me with grass. I wouldn't recommend trying them in wood, I don't know where the pieces might go. Worst case is that the blades are garbage for what you would like to use them for but you get 2 spare nuts and the other mounting hardware. Price a nut at your local stihl dealer.
