Running 6 small tanks with no issues. I placed the pump into the liner that came in the packaging and now the pump is completely quiet. Very happy!

very powerfull for the price, very happy how quiet it is in the mid range. 0-25% is kinda not dimeable but once it start you can kinda manage the power. cant say if it will remain this quiet and such but good purchase (was in special 50%)

Update 2: I pulled it a part for a third time. I bought a screw extractor set and I was able to get the stripped screw removed and the diaphragm replaced. I put it all back together and now it is running beautifully and silent. If it had ran this way from the unbox this would be an easy 5 star review. I am $65.00 in on this pump now and it is finally working well after much headache and extra money spent. Update: I received replacement diaphragms that I had to buy, I was able to get one replaced but the screw on the second one almost instantly stripped. I now have a horribly unbalanced single channel air pump that sounds like shaking marbles inside of a cup when it runs at full power. Cool. Still disappointed. I unboxed this after receiving it to get the cardboard recycled asap. I didn't get it installed until a week later. I immediately noticed that one of the ports had 0 air flow and the second was incredibly poor. Unfortunately without the box I doubt I could return it. I took it apart and noticed that both diaphragms were split open. I'm having to buy replacement parts before it's even seen any use. BEWARE that this could happen to you. Keep your box! I have a cheap tetra dual port pump from Walmart that's been running non stop since 2018 and still has amazing output. This has me regretting not getting another one of those. My hygger is now in pieces until I can get replacement parts.

This is a nice, powerful air pump that doesn't produce much noise. It's quiet enough for me and I'm very noise sensitive. In fact, what I have discovered is that if you want a quiet pump, it's best to not buy a small one, but spring for a relatively expensive and very large air pump with much more power than you need. This way, you only have to turn it up a little bit to get the flow rate you need, as in my experience, all pumps get louder the higher you turn them up. I use this to run a qanvee dual sponge filter, small version without media cups, in a 5 gallon aquarium. Massive overkill, it could run 5 or more such setups. But as I said, this is the best solution I've found for getting the noise level down.

I actually purchased an Eheim Air Pump 400 prior to this and was attempting to use it to run 3x sponge filters in 2 20 gallon talls and 5 air-powered breeder boxes. It kind of struggled and I had to spend time fine-tuning every line in my gang valves to get some water/air movement going everywhere I needed it. It was also fairly audible - I thought it was OK since I was replacing a 5 year Tetra Whisper 20 that was rattling like crazy. Then I decided to try a more powerful pump and was blown away by how quiet this one was. Like I literally cannot hear it unless I go right up next to it, all I can hear are the bubbles. This thing is fairly strong, too. I couldn't even use check valves with the Eheim because it would completely kill the flow - not a problem with this pump. I mean, to be fair the Eheim 400 is also a 4W pump vs. this 10W but they are on the same level price wise. I took it apart and found out that there is an inner chamber completely encased in steel and suspended by rubber with lots of spacing around it. This is, in turn, surrounded by thicker outer plastic shell that sits on silicone feet/rubber feet so you get double damping. The little suction cup feet are a nice touch as well - they actually suck onto whatever surface they're placed on (I have it on a wood windowsill, for instance) so the pump will never slowly vibrate out of position. I also like the metal air barbs, less chance of them snapping for when you have to wrestle with an air tube to get it off. Lastly the packaging is also very well done, this looks like a well designed product you could pick up at a nice aquarium store and not just direct-from-the-factory product. It is a little bit chunkier but I think that's what helps it stay so quiet. The only reason why I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is that there are other products that function similarly but at a significantly lower price with more accessories. Aquaneat has a 10W dual-outlet pump that's $14 less and comes with gang valves + check valves and it's almost as good (but less pressure, 0.03mpa instead of 0.05mpa) with a smaller footprint. However I ultimately went with this one because it has slightly more power and is better built.
