Authentic Chinese paper lantern
This is very lightweight product as the lanterns are made of very thin paper. It is simple to assemble the lantern but not easy. You need to be careful to stick the sides with lining it up correctly. It looks cute and very Chinese New Year after assembled. But it is one off thing. You can not use it again which is a shame. Maybe the seller can think about strengthening the paper quality like some other products so the lantern can be reused every year.

Gorgeous addition to my home
A simple design that is neat and easy to assemble and use . The material has a cheap feeling, but seems fairly sturdy. They don’t take up too much space, so if you don’t want them, it’s easy to store away. The whole package contains 15 red lanterns, I can’t put all them up, just 6 of them, they look beautiful from a distance and do cheer up the home atmosphere .For the price i think this is a very worthwile item to use as decoration at home.

Bright & fun. 🏮🧧🐯🧧🏮[15 Red Chinese Lanterns]
My partner lives in Singapore & due to Covid restrictions we haven't really been able to see each other for the last two years. So for our video calls I like to surprise here with decorations & take part in festivals together. So she was pretty stoked when we connected for Chinese Lunar New Year on the 1ˢᵗ of February & Shangyuan Festival [𝘓𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯 𝘍𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘭] on the 15ᵗʰ of February & I'd decorated the room with these lanterns from "Redstar" & I'd cooked some traditional foods for us to share on camera. [𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸, 𝘐'𝘮 𝘢 𝘴𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘺 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘤!] In the packet you get the following: - 🏮15 x Chinese New Year lanterns in a bee comb shape with hanging tassels. The lanterns are made from a thin plastic that fees like waxed tissue paper. In traditional colours of red & gold that symbolise wealth, fame, and prosperity. They are easy to assemble. They are flat packed for transit, but open up concertina like & are fastened via means of an attached sticky pad. [𝘝𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘮𝘢𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 70'𝘴.] Each lantern can be suspended by means of a metal "split-ring" similar to those used for keys. Each lantern also has a long fringed tassel with a pendant part way down it. The pendants have the following Chinese characters: -🏮 福 = Blessing🏮 穈 = Porridge I can see the meaning of 福 Blessing, though 穈 Porridge has me somewhat stumped. Either my translator is getting confused [𝘪𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘶𝘱 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 "𝘍𝘪𝘴𝘩" 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘺𝘮𝘣𝘰𝘭], the printing is badly done or I'm not getting the cultural significance? Being plastic you could hang these outside, though the small cardboard pendant may not last in the rain. I've managed to carefully un-stick the tab & fold them away so I can use them again next year as I feel guilty about single use plastic. They are really bright & colourful, nice way to cheer up the house during the dark, gloomy days of February & to help celebrate Lunar New Year. For me its also a nice way to connect with my partners life even when we're being kept apart at the moment. So brilliant value at £7.95 for the 15 lanterns [53 𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩].

Feels like "crepe paper" to me - attractive festive pieces.
I do think you can get more for your money elsewhere, but I could not speak to their quality. But 15 at £7.95 still represents good value. The material of the main lantern reminds me of crepe paper, and they're an attractive design that has added a nice festive feel.We are happy with them :)Five Stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍

Very festive and easy to assemble
Nice shaped lanterns ideal for Chinese New Year and any celebrations. They are quite easy to assemble just by sticking one side to the other making a round shape but this can be a bit fiddly as the lantern is made of very fine tissue paper so they are quite flimsy. There is a little ring which you can hang or attach to wherever you are placing them. They also have a tassle on the bottom which makes them even more festive! For £7.99 (at time of review) it’s good value for 15 of them .

Attractive red Chinese Lanterns
Fantastic pack of 15 red Chinese lanterns. They are well made, a good size and at £7.95 for the pack, really good value. Easy to assemble and I am hoping that by removing the adhesive I will be able to use them year after year. I ordered them too late for this year but will save them and use them next year.

Easy to assemble
These are easy to assemble and are made from a thinnish plastic material, which might make them more durable than paper, and perhaps more usable outside. They were smaller than I was expecting (so check the sizing). They are good value for money.
