Awesome built quality but average sound quality. Basically good for this price range.

I recently purchased the boAt Airdopes 181 in-Ear True Wireless Earbuds and have been using them for the past week. Overall, I am satisfied with the product. The earbuds are comfortable to wear and have a good fit, and the sound quality is impressive for the price point. However, I was disappointed to discover that the earbuds do not have noise cancellation as advertised. While they do block out some ambient noise, they are not as effective as other earbuds I've used with noise cancellation technology. The battery life has been satisfactory. The earbuds last for a good amount of time on a single charge, and the case is convenient for charging on the go. Overall, I would recommend the boAt Airdopes 181 earbuds for those looking for a budget-friendly option with good sound quality. Just be aware that they do not have noise cancellation.

These pods are so touch-sensitive, they'll magically pause your music every time you dare to adjust them in your ears. It's a work of art how often one of the earphones decides to simply give up and stop working. But fear not, they've generously included a special sheet on how to deal with this recurring problem. You'll be amazed at how loudly you have to shout for the voice assistant to have the faintest clue about what you're saying. It's almost as if they designed it to make communication as frustrating as possible. Kudos to their creativity! Ah, the sound quality, is the sole redeeming feature of this product. Brace yourselves for the sheer magnificence that is its okayness. Yes, you read that right. The sound quality is just okay. Not great, not outstanding, but passable in the most lackluster sense of the word. It's like a tiny flicker of hope amidst a sea of inconveniences, reminding us that while it falls short, at least it's not a complete disaster. So, let us marvel at this minuscule saving grace, for in the grand scheme of disappointments, it barely manages to rise above the rest.

Review after using it for about a month - pros- • battery backup is the most amazing of all. • sound quality is amazing but bass is on the low side. • build quality is well made almost feels premium but could be improved. • very comfy even after a long day use. cons- • There's a noticable delay in touch controls (most irritating one). • There's no such thing as no delay during gaming on wireless earphones. just get wired instead of this if you are planning on using it for gaming. • Noise cancellation calling or enc doesnt work, also while calling 2nd person most of the time says that "I can't hear you well" or "Your voice is so low" on outdoors. • Sometimes a earphone doesn't turns on, so I have to manually turn it on. • To pickup a call one tap, but here's the catch to disconnect a ongoing call I have to double tap on the touch panel. (boat says single tap tho) Conclusion - If you have a little more budget, don't buy this. else this just works fine.

Initially, I enthusiastically gave this Bluetooth device a 5-star rating upon receiving and using it for a couple of days. Unfortunately, my positive experience has dwindled over the past few months due to a recurring issue. Despite diligently placing the device back in its charging box, it consistently fails to disconnect from my phone. This forces me to repeatedly insert and remove it from the box multiple times until it finally disconnects. While Boat has undoubtedly invested heavily in celebrity marketing and effectively promoted its products, the reality is that their products do not seamlessly fit into the market as promised. I am for sure never buying BOAT products ever in life.

I am writing this after 5 days of usage so I haven't tried the calling quality and features. Built Quality: Very Good. The earphone snap perfectly in their slots in the box. It's magnetic so no issues there. Haven't heard any creaking or weird noises. The lid of the box also closes pretty well. Connectivity: Near instantaneous. I hooked it with my laptop, discovery -> Pairing, happened within 10 seconds. When i first stared using it, I heard cracking noises but I guess that can happen because of a lot of factors. I don't think the earphones themselves are damaged. Now I don't hear them. Sound Quality: The bass is deep thanks to the 10mm drivers. It's not thumping, and it's a little soft. However it can go very deep. Watching movies is a delight on these. All sounds, dialog, music etc , output is perfect. For music, depends on your equalizer setting. Overall, good. The not so good: The earphones are touch sensitive towards the top. And that is one feature I find it absolutely annoying because it's a hit or a miss. You can pause/play your music on a single tap. When I am taking off the earphones, the touch gets activated and music starts playing. Other times, I am tapping it, nothing happens. You can activate BEAST mode by tapping 4 times. It's a HUGE challenge to get that activated. I have absolutely no idea how it counts 4. I must have tapped 400 times to get it activated. Beast mode increases the sound output. So you'll want it ON. Noise Cancellation: There is no noise cancellation. Like normal earphones, unless you have your music at a certain level, you'll hear everything. Battery Life: I don't listen to music for long hours so I charged the box 2 days ago and it's still going strong.
