Not only does the water dispenser work flawlessly - it also provides endless entertainment for my cat. For some reason he is fascinated with it and treats it as its own oasis, likes to sleep by it.

For whatever reason, both of our cats hate this water dispenser. They've investigated it, they've sniffed it - but in two months I have never seen them drink from it, and the water level seems to remain the same from when I fill it to when I change out the water for a fresh supply, so I don't think that they're using it when we're not looking.I have no idea why they refuse to use it - I've washed it in mild soap three times now in case there is some sort of factory/chemical smell that they don't like, but it has made no difference. They happily use the other water sources that we provide for them, but this thing is ignored all day, every day.

At first I thought it might be too large for just one cat, but he drinks a lot so I’m glad! It’s easy to use but the first time it gurgled, it scared me because it sounded like he was barfing😵‍💫! I’m getting used to the sound, slowly! I do like that the bowl is large enough that his whiskers are not smushed! Glad I chose this one! Comes with a rubber pad also for the floor.
