Are these considered "beginner" strings or can more advanced players use them too?

Overall they are beautiful strings and certainly not just for the beginners. It's just a bit too bright for my taste, personally.

Zyex is ball end. But you can take that ball off easily. Make sure you read the package.

Why can it be used for yamaha yev violin and it is more ecpensive than daddario strings for electric?

Zyex have a composite core. This type of string tends to be more costly than steel core strings. This doesn't mean they are better for every application.
