Audio-Visual Direct Magnetic Black Glass Dry-Erase Board Set - 60 cm x 90 cm - Includes Board, 2 Magnets, and Aluminium Marker Tray

This is either a metal magnetic board or a white glass board but its not both. It needs really strong magnetic to work. I wouldnt recommend this if you needed a magnetic whiteboard or magnetic glass board.

I was looking for a marker board to hang in my home office, but wanted to do something different than at "the office". This is a very classy-looking board that compliments the decor of my place very well. As others have commented, the included template isn't exactly correct, so you'll want to put the board on it and make corrected marks before hanging this thing up. The board is very reflective as you might imagine black glass to be, and if you don't get it right there is a risk of a little circus-mirror effect. (You do have a couple mm's of fudging room, but don't push it! My problem came when I realized a couple drill holes were a bit crooked.) The board is heavy, but not so heavy that you need to find studs in the wall; the 6 included anchors will be sufficient to hold it up on drywall. The included hardware definitely gets the job done, and the instructions on the template are quite adequate. (You'll need a 3/8" drill bit (or 5mm), rubber mallet (to flush the anchors to the wall) and a phillips head screwdriver. You'll want to have a level or clineometer app handy as well.) I was going to hold out for a magnetic version in this size, but decided to just go with this. I will be experimenting with mounting cheap metal plates to the back later to see if I can get anything to stick. The neon dry-erase markers from Expo stand out quite well on this board. Wet erase as well if you like.

Nothing to dislike! Better than what I was expecting. Was delivered in 2 days. I bought the 3x2 and it looks so dope! Super easy to install. Came with two magnets (wish it came with more). Does not come with markers or eraser (I bought those separately). It does come with a tray to hold the markers, but I decided to buy the behind the board marker holder to make it look classier (I felt like the tray took away the amazing look of the board). UPDATE: Almost a month later and the board is still thriving! I uploaded a pic and video of the board for who ever needs a visual. On the bottom left the white rectangle is the magnetic eraser (didn’t come with the board. bought separately), on the top right the two white circles are the magnets (came with the board), on the bottom right behind the board holding the markers is the behind the board marker holder (bought separately and the markers as well). Happy with the purchase! (

I previously bought another brand of magnetic glass board and it had dangerously sharp corners and expected you to hang it from only 2 screws and it was clearly unsafe to use. what a pleasant surprise to find this well-packaged board that arrived less than 24 hours after I ordered in a strong package. the first thing was it came with a piece of card the same size as the glass board to make it easy to mark the holes using the card on the wall. then the wall fixing metal dowels that pass through each corner allow you to securely hang it within 30 minutes. a nice touch was 3 long sponge supports are supplied to put across the back of the board that prevents the glass bowing as you write on it. the glass has soft rounded corners and with secure wall fixing feels safe for the children to use. also, a pen tray is supplied. as others have noted chalkboard pens are of really variable quality and finding a brand which is not too wet, not to faint and dries quickly is not so easy. still, I would never go back to a normal whiteboard, for my home office this serves a dual function of looking like a smart glossy piece of elegant black glass that does not detract from the room. I paid less than £80 and could not find any glass board of a comparable size for such a low price and high quality. Delighted with this buy. I only wish they would do this in other colours.
