Never having used a grounding mat before, I was skeptical. But I do therapeutic touch and have experience with changes in sensations from Reiki and acupunctureand I was blown away by how immediate the effect was. It helped me drop into a mindfulness state more easily. I like the size and so far have just sat on it. The instructions could have been better regarding which side of the mat is up but between the little pictures and sentence I overlooked, I figured the rubbery side with the plug faced up.
