However, one very important point—Samsung provides a very short water inlet pipe (around half a metre or less). In most homes, this won’t be sufficient. The technician will most likely suggest buying an extension pipe from them for about ₹700, but you don’t need to spend that much. My tip: plan your installation space in advance and keep an extra pipe ready. You can easily buy one from any hardware store for ₹300–400, or if you forget, just order quickly from Blinkit/Instamart/Zepto and have it delivered before the technician arrives. This small step can save you both money and frustration. Performance: The washing machine itself works really well. The drum felt a little small at first, but I realized it’s because of the concave door design. For a 7 kg machine, it handles family laundry just fine. The biggest plus for me is how quiet it is—you can barely hear anything, even during spin cycles. Sometimes there are slight noises, but nothing major. Another small but nice touch is the melody that plays when the wash cycle finishes. Unexpected Issue: Once, while using it, my mother suddenly heard a loud cracking noise (like firecrackers) along with a faint burning smell. We immediately switched it off and contacted Samsung customer care. This is where I faced my biggest frustration. Apart from the frustrating customer service experience, I am happy with its day-to-day performance and would still recommend it.

I give 5 stars for the product and 0 stars for Samsung service. Product: product is good, not very noisy, washes and rinses the clothes to satisfaction. It’s a basic washing machine that does the job well. No fancy modes but who uses those fancy modes anyway. I will update about the product after a few months of use if I come across anything that will be useful to other buyers. Installation: terrible experience because it’s been a week and nobody from Samsung has come to install the washing machine. The service guy calls me everyday and first thing he asks is if I want to buy a stand for the fridge and washing machine I bought. When I replied that I don’t need any stands, and just ask him to come install, he doesn’t turn up. This has happened for a week now. Self-Installation: the washing machine is heavy (50+kg) which has to be tilted, power cord, water inlet and drain pipes which are very very short in length. I’m a mechanical engineer and it was quite a task for me to install it myself after spending half a day. The shopping bolts are tight and you need proper tools and a good muscle to work on it. I have installed everything and everything works for now, but lacks the professional touch which a plumber/technician would bring. Bottom line, unlike fridge installation, washing machine installation is not childplay and needs professional help. If you do not think you can fix it yourself, DO NOT buy from amazon, go to a local retailer instead who will deliver and fix the machine for you. Imagine the frustration. A new washing machine sitting in its box for a week. A Samsung service guy who calls everyday just to sell his stands and stabilisers and doesn’t turn up when he knows that I won’t be buying it. Such people must be fired from their jobs and they spoil the reputation of good companies like Samsung. I am more than willing to share the details of this service person. Now you may ask, what has amazon got to do in this Samsung problem? The answer is, they take no accountability to install unlike a local retailer. Such machines are not delivered just because the boxes reach your homes. Installation is a big element which one must not ignore. If I go to amazon, they say their job is over and Samsung doesn’t know that they have such conmen as their service technicians. So sufferers are us, customers.

Pros: 1) Good wash quality 2) Less Noice, maintaining decent silence while spinning 3) You don't even have to dryout some of the fabrics like sports wear, u can just wear as it is after taken out from the machine... ***For other type of the fabrics all u need is just hang the clothes in a shade for complete drying*** 4) Speed of installation is good( Though we are staying in a village I got a call from samsung team just after second day of delivery of the product and sent the crew for installation) 5) Handsome looking washing machine... 6) Price range to performance ratio and Performance to satisfaction ratio is close to one precisely varies between (0.9-0.95) 7) Built quality is decent 8) Compact and easy to fit even in a less space 9) Plenty of useful options... 10) Less Consumption of water. Cons:: Samsung team sent two unprofessional crew for the installation and to give demo they installed well but their demo giving skills are disasters they don't know anything... Me myself had studied entire manual and understand each and every function before washing clothes with the help of the machine... 2) Noticed a bit vibration while spinning at high speed 3) Hose pipe length is short better to buy lengthy hose pipe from online "if necessary" Overall it's a recommended product...
