I love the smell of cocoa butter, but it can be strong in skin care. I bought these in a bind because I ran out of my main supply and these worked great, but the odor is much stronger in the final product. Cocoa butter is hard to work with because of this but it’s beneficial so I love using it, but have to get mine with minimal odor or it’s all you will smell in my final body butters. With this brand, the wafers make it so easy to use and it melts much quicker, but the odor is still somewhat strong in the final product. Id still use again if in a bind but just something to note in case you’re using it for similar purposes.

I bought this to use with coconut oil and shea butter to make a hand cream. I am using woodsy and lavender essential oils so I didn't want the chocolate cocoa butter scent but just the texture. It smelled slightly of cocoa butter when I opened the bag but after melting with my 2 other oils I can't smell any hint of cocoa butter at all. Nice product!

This is nice and not completely deodorized though. I use it in my lotion bars and lotions just fine. I like that it comes in wafers because it makes it easier to toss in the mixture. I used to have the bar kind since it was cheaper but it's such a pain in the winter to chop it to the amount I need. It's a hard butter when it's cold so being wafer sized is helpful.So far no graininess or anything happening from the cocoa butter. How do I know? This is the only ingredient that I ran out of and replaced in my lotions. Smells good, feels good, no weird things happening during the hot phase.

Easy to measure and use. Size and shape makes melting faster as well. Little odor to interfere with my diy bath and body product scents.

I use this product for soap making, its always very fresh. I received it in the mail the next day.

These are great for my handmade soaps and body products! Although this is the deodorized cocoa butter, there is still a very mild chocolatey scent to them but it is not overpowering and I actually really like it! Recommend!

This doesn't small any different than the unrefined cocoa butter we previously bought. Cost more but gets the same results. Would recommend using another type.

Melts nicely, mixes nicely, no smell. Very good product.
