Fintie Case for 13 Inch Microsoft Surface Pro 8 (2021 Release) - Multiple Angle Viewing Portfolio Business Cover with Pocket and Stylus Holder, Compatible with Type Cover Keyboard (Gray)

My case of 3 years just broke and I saw this one and fell in love. It's a bit bigger, but honestly it looks so good for client visits and it's more secure when I bring it in my bag or suitcase for travel.

This is my second Finite case for a my second Surface Pro. Both have been great quality, durable and protect the Surface effectively. One word of caution, keep an eye on the temp of your Surface with this case, as I've noticed that it gets a tad warmer in the case when doing some intensive tasks. Feels sturdy, and the extra slot in the front is very handy.

Looks great and fits a 13inch surface pro and blutooth keyboard perfectly. And does not get in the way of a surface 8 pro hub.

What I like: Great fit and looks nice. Fabric quality and thickness seem appropriate for protecting and keeping it light. What I don't like: Using it with the keyboard (type cover) is okay. I am buying a case to protect my surface and keyboard. I don't like having the keyboard on the table despite that being an intended use. Note: I don't see a case that is designed to protect both in all configurations. The "fix": I don't use the bottom elastic straps. The case folds nicely to protect the keyboard without any strain on the hinge. The only downside to this is the surface slips out of the case easily when I swing the keyboard to close. It's also a little more difficult to move the stand out. Overall I am happy to make this tradeoff to protect the keyboard and surface completely. Good case at a good price. I'll risk the slipping to have keyboard protection.

Once the kickstand is in this cover, the fit and stability is awesome. It does make your surface much thicker, but it's worth the protection and functionality of this product. Writing is great and it stays upright for all laptop use. The design does make it a little long in the back when using it like a laptop though. No complaints almost a year in, it has lasted numerous travel trips and daily coffee shop visits in my backpack.

We purchased a navy blue case for my son, because those were his school colors. When this case arrived, it was packaged very nice. It has a Styrofoam insert so that the case will keep the shape. The directions are like IKEA directions in that they’re picture only, however, this case is straightforward to use so a quick glance at them with clear enough. This itself is made with nice quality materials and protects the laptop well. The elastic that secures the kickstand is tight and the surface pro feels safe once it’s in place. The actual appearance of the case is great – even though my son is in high school, I feel like this is the type of case that he could keep through college and take to a job and look good.

While my Surface Pro 8 is very sturdy and likely doesn't need a case, it has a flaw -- the power button is on one side and the volume switch is on the other, so if I put my Surface in portrait orientation on a table, the power button or volume gets pressed and held which causes issues! This case fixes that issue by holding the surface within a support. In addition, this design allows for the keyboard to be opened with the case attached. Fantastic design and quality. I'd buy from this company again.

1-3/4 years of use and the pen holder has been loosening for at least 6 months. It's becoming pretty useless, and is a very important feature for the Surface Pro. Because it's so flimsy now, the point of the pen hits the desk and I'm concerned it will get damaged. Or sometimes when I'm carrying the laptop with the case closed, the pen just falls out onto the floor! Please find a better method for pen support! Reduced my stars from 5 to 3 because this is so critical for me. Original post: This is the second of these cases I bought (had to get a new Surface Pro when my older model wore out). I loved my first case so much that I bought an identical one again since they changed the size and shape of the Surface just enough that I couldn't use the old case. This case is durable, easy to use, stays on well, thick and well made. I highly recommend it.

I read all the reviews and was concerned about the plastic smell and screen not turning off, but wanted to try anyway and return if any issues. I can confirm the following with a Surface Pro 8: - My screen turns off fine in this case. - There is indeed a plastic/solvent smell, but not a deal-breaker. Hopefully it goes away after a while. Product looks great and we'll built for the price. Very happy and would buy again.
