More Moisture Conditioner, Coconut Milk, 32 Oz (Packaging May Vary)

I love this conditioner. It leaves my hair feeling hydrated and soft without being greasy. It has a very pleasant smell as well. It is vegan friendly! I also need to inlcude a review for the seller as amazon won't let me leave seller feedback once the original post is deleted. There was an issue with my order and I was not able to find a way to contact the seller (to be fair, I am not the most tech savvy). All that being said, I was able to get my issue resolved with top notch customer service from the seller and overall would highly recommend purchasing from them in the future! They went above and beyond to fix the issue (There is a reason I am not disclosing what the issue was).

Very pleased with how soft and shiny my hair is now! I switched from Function of Beauty to OGX and now to Alba. My hair is now way more manageable. Honestly the best bang for your buck. I was considering buying a higher end shampoo and conditioner but I will stick with this. Very effective, smells amazing.

I'm chronically displeased with all my hair products, particularly shampoo and conditioner, but this is hands-down the best conditioner I've ever used for detangling and softening fine hair without weighing it down. For context I have fine hair that tangles very easily because I have a lot of it. Ask every hairdresser I've ever gone to, and my poor mother who had to brush it when I was a child. You ever notice women combing their hair after stepping out of a pool or the ocean? I find myself sending them mean thoughts because they don't know how lucky they are. I actually hate washing my hair because detangling it in the shower is such a chore even with conditioner. Thus I tend to avoid any conditioners that say "light conditioning" or "volume boosting" because I know those words are code for "doesn't detangle for s***". So why I ever bought Alba Body Builder Mango conditioner several years ago I'll never know but I'm glad I did! It is very thick so it really coats each strand and immediately makes it easier to run your fingers through. I'm amble to completely comb through my hair in the shower. And yet when you rinse it out it seems to rinse away very cleanly. (Another conditioner I like for detangling is Matrix Biolage Conditioning Balm however that definitely weighs down fine hair, but it's nice to use in the winter or after swimming or coloring/perming your hair). The scent is lovely, not an overwhelmingly sweet fruit scent but a light yummy scent. It doesn't leave much of a scent after the hair dries though which is OK because then I can smell my coconutty Paul Mitchell One shampoo (best scent ever). The one "con" is that because it is so thick it gets tricky to squeeze out once the bottle is only 1/4 full. Store it upside down, but when it gets really low and you don't want to waste any of the goodness do this: put a little bit of water in the bottle, close it and turn it upside down. Next time you use it you're able to squeeze the conditioner out by removing the cap and it's not watered down because the water and conditioner don't really mix well. In fact when I did this all the remaining condition came out in a big plop so I had to put some back in the bottle.

I’ve been using Alba Botanica More Moisture Conditioner with Coconut Milk for a while now, and it’s become a staple in my hair care routine. Excellent product, thick, soft and no need too much to cover hair. Great fragrance. Hope ingredients used hasn't changed since its a brand with trust with clean ingredients no causing irritation and such. Only reason for 4 stars is the price. But this size really last for a while. Thank you.

(I paid full price for this product!) Hey There. My name is Lauren and I'm an addict.. to bleaching my hair! I have thin, fine hair that never seems to grow past my shoulder blades. Thankfully, my hair has natural waves that I am able to blow-dry and leave alone so I do not use a flat/curling irons more than 10 times per year. I just bleach and blow-dry - that's the extent of my HAIR ABUSE. However, it's abuse nonetheless. I struggle with finding the best conditioners because I love BIG hair and I hate having to compromise volume for moisture - usually volume wins! I was concerned about this purchase after reading a few reviews about weighted hair and, even worse, general oiliness. I don't need help with oily hair! It just takes one night of sleep for my tresses to look like they could change the oil in a car! HOWEVER, this product is GLORIOUS. First of all, it smells like heaven. If you are a lover of the tropics then just the appearance of this happy little bottle will put a smile on your face. It didn't weigh my hair down nearly the way I expected it would and my hair was no more oily than it usually is by the end of the day. My hair was softer and the flyaways were no where to be found! Let me also add that coconut oil in general is INCREDIBLE for your hair. Weeks after I began using this product, I began putting pure coconut oil on my hair at night - ONLY on the tips. I shower every morning and coconut oil is one of the only oils that actually better penetrate the follicle when the hair is totally dry. The combination of both products have brought life back to my hair! Picture 1: That's post-nap hair. Though I know I look super schmexy with that hair, I also have DEAD PINE NEEDLE STRAW HAIR. Picture 2: This was the day before I began using this conditioner. No nap - so less terrifying - but still all bad. Picture 3: This was after one week of using this conditioner. You can see the waves and body finally coming back! Picture 4: This was after one month of usage - a flat iron was used on my hair that morning. It still looks so much healthier! Picture 5: This is current - approximately 2.5 month after I began using this product - no curler/heat used other than my blowdryer.

My local Fred Meyer store sells the small bottles of this variety of Alba Botanica shampoo and conditioner for 9.99 a bottle (6oz). Now I don't know about you but that is a little pricey for my household. We are a family of 6 and struggle to find a shampoo and conditioner that works for everyone. We don't want the nasty chemicals in our hair and body products , we need our hair to be well hydrated, and I need it to be cost effective. We tried Alba Botanica because my local store began to carry it. We love the coconut milk variety best. It smells nice without giving off that nauseating chemical smells that other brands have. I was thrilled when I found a larger bottle on Amazon and a pump bottle to boot. Most kids have a problem with using way too much shampoo and conditioner, I feel mostly in part due to the tipping over of the bottle to dispense into their hands. With a pump bottle it gives them just the right amount without the spills and overuse. I believe I purchased each of the pump bottles for about 18 dollars and it is the equivalent to three of the smaller bottles from my local store, which would have cost me 30 to buy the same amount in ounces. My hair is hydrated, no leftover residue, easy to brush, and overall feels healthier than it did before switching to Alba Botanica. Normally using other products I had to buy a different brand each time because my hair would become used to it and then become slimy after showering or would have a lot of build up on the scalp causing dandruff(depending on the brand). I have been using this product for several months and have not needed to switch brands. My hair is loving it.

I wanted to give this 5 stars because it felt amazing on my hair, and didn't make it feel heavy or greasy. And the coconut smell was delicious! But after three days of using it, my back broke out and was covered in tiny bumps that are still not cleared up a few weeks later. I wasn't able to use it long enough to tell if it made a difference in making my hair break less and feel less dry (which was why I tried it). So if you don't have breakout prone skin, it's probably amazing on your hair, it just didn't work out for me.
