Bare with Me Luminous Tinted Skin Serum Universal Light

I have oily/combination skin that is very sensitive to breakouts (especially from makeup), and this product is great! I’ve probably used 6-7 bottles this year. I do wish it came in a bigger bottle. It is very sheet but it’s a great base and easily buildable.

This is super duty and light coverage. Perfect for mixing and layering with foundations. The luminosity still shines through almost any foundation. Absolutely recommend if you love a luminous dewy finish

If you're looking for coverage, this is not the product for you. It really doesn't cover much at all. Also, if your skin is more on the oily side, this may be too moisturizing. It does provide a very sheer, no-makeup, dewy look and I like it, I do have to use a bit of the NYX setting powder on the places I don't want too shiny looking. Using a brush to apply the setting powder keeps a bit of the glowy look, whereas using a powder puff cancels out the dewy shine completely.

The "dispenser" isn't easy to deal with, nor is it particularly helpful. I can't help by think this product would work better in a tube. At least you'd be able to use most of it. This bottle will waste a LOT of product. As to the product itself? Its quite waxy on the skin and doesn't smell good. I've taken to mixing it with a colorless serum I prefer to mask the off smell and the waxy feeling.

First off, I really like the NYX foundation I normally use, and I like the Loreal true match hyaluronic tinted serum (but could use a slightly lighter shade than their lightest one), so decided to try this NYX version of a tinted serum. The company calls this serum "luminous," but to me it is way too much. It looks like oiler liquid glue all over my face. It says sheer coverage, and it truly was almost none at all, nor did it seem buildable, which would be ok if that's what you want, but then you also have to get past the extremely oily looking shine as well as the awful stickiness. It does have a scent, which normally I dislike but it was mild and not unpleasant. But the look and feel I couldn't stand. I feel it would be better to just put a lightweight oil on and let that moisturize your face. Even if oil doesn't "glow" it at least wouldn't feel so sticky. This serum felt so gunky that I couldn't wear it. I tried it twice because unfortunately with this seller it wouldn't be worth returning after having to pay the shipping to do so, I wouldn't have got much back.
