If you use dry shampoo buy this!
For the record I didn’t buy this on amazon, but from their website. But I know people go to amazon for reviews so I’m giving mine on here.I bought this product over a year ago and have never used it, worried it would strip my hair. So it sat in my cupboard. My hair is fine, straight and color treated. I use a lot of product including volumizing dry shampoos to help add texture and volume. My hair felt gross, dry and dull even after washing it. So I went to the internet to try to find ways to add shine to your hair in between color treatments. Everything I read said to use a clarifying shampoo once a week, especially if you use a dry shampoo. Hmmmm I use dry shampoo every other day!So I went to the cupboard and pulled out Kevin Murphy’s maxi claryfing shampoo. I lathered it in my hair in the shower and let it sit for 1 min. Rinsed and used a good conditioner. I could immediately tell the difference when I combed out my wet hair. I blow dried it and WOW! My hair felt like a walked out of a salon after a color or treatment! So soft, so shiny! I was amazed how badly I needed this! Made such a huge difference, I was literally ready to chop my hair off because I thought it was dry and damaged. Here it just had massive build up!Made a difference for me and will definitely use once a week!

Best color safe scalp clarifying shampoo
This shampoo is light and has a very light scent. Safe to use on color treated hair.

Smells Weird, but Works Great
I discovered this when my hairstylist did too dark of a hair color just 3 weeks before my wedding. (Not hairstylist's fault -- long story, but basically weeks before my wedding I had to find a brand new stylist.) The stylist said for me to get this shampoo and use it every day until our next appointment to strip the color from my hair. Totally worked. And we redid the color to a lighter color. Wedding hair turned out great.Post wedding he told me I should keep using it once a week to remove build up from my hair and that it actually helps the color treatment on hair. It removes hard water build up. I semi-grudgingly decided to follow his advice and do use it about every other week cause the stuff really does work.Negatives:1) I really dislike the smell of it2) The container is horrific! So difficult to squeeze out the shampoo from it. Absolutely despise the container. They really should do something about it.3) They need to carry this at Ulta then I'd be more likely to purchase it more regularlyNote:Right after you wash your hair with it your hair will feel sticky and/or matted together. Apply conditioner and it will rinse the stickiness out. So, basically, don't freak out by how it feels after putting it in your hair.

FAKE!
Pretty sure this product is fake OR at the least very watered-down. I had to use sooo much product each time to even get my hair clean and even then, I was unimpressed. I see no difference between this and Suave clarifying shampoo. Do yourself a favor, buy it from a salon and don't waste your money here.

Not for me
This product isn't for me. I wanted to try a detox shampoo because I only wash my hair once a week and use dry shampoo and hairspray in between, but with this product I found I needed to use more than usual to fully clean my hair. It doesn't lather, which didn't bother me, as most of us know by now that lather is a psychological thing and not actually required for cleaning/washing your hair. Unfortunately, unlike the delightful-smelling Kevin Murphy Angel Wash, this one has no scent.
