Rwanda & Burundi Travel Reference Map: 1:300,000

Very general map which is not terribly useful but does help inlocating villages and topigraphical locations. I would not purchaseagain this map or from this series.

reasonably accurate....the country has changed the name to most towns in Rwanda so the names in this version of the map do not match

This map did not meet our expectations. It was lightweight paper. The major roads were marked but none of the secondary roads were numbered. They were on the map but no identification.

It is exactly what I was looking for. Where else can you find a map of African countries? Thank you.

Get the map before you go to Rwanda. I seemed to be the only person in the country w a map.

This is by far the best travel map of Rwanda you can get. But although it seems to be published in 2010 the information it contains is nearly twenty years old (somewhere is mentioned it originally has been drawn for the benefit of NGOs working in Rwanda after the genocide of 1994). All major town have now got new names, which are not on the map, but the provinces and districts do have their new names. Also the boundaries of Akagera NP have not been adjasted. A third of the park was degazetted in 1997.This map is not for sale in Rwanda - at least I didn't encounter it anywhere. So buy it before you visit Rwanda. You will make people jealous when you show it to them!

Although published in 2010, the map doesn't take into account new names for Rwandan provinces that were introduced in 2006. Don't buy this map except when you are looking for a historical map.

Mappa non aggiornata con i nuovi nomi delle città che sono quelli che si trovano sulle indicazioni stradali delle principali vie di comunicazione. Non precisissima per quanto riguarda le strade secondarie che portano ai piccoli villaggi ma con un po’ di conoscenza del paese o un minimo senso dell’orientamento si arriva a destinazione. Per visitare i principali siti turistici sapendo i nomi modificati è perfetta. In foto l’unica mappa che si trova a Kigali (plastificata e arrotolata) ma con nomi aggiornati e la mappa della recensione

Also haben wir sie bei unserer Abreise gleich dagelassen, um ihm eine Freude zu machen. Werden also bald wieder eine brauchen ...

Die Karte hat mit bei meinen Reisen in Burundi und Ruanda sehr geholfen da es für beide Länder kaum brauchbare Reiseführer gibt.
