The color-changing feature is fascinating — it responds to movement and light in such a fun way, and it’s impressive how many different expressions and moods it shows. We also love the repeat-back feature and the beat detection — Nova reacts to music and voices, which adds a whole new level of interaction. The batteries included last a good amount of time, and overall the toy feels well-made and durable. Perfect for kids ages 5+ who enjoy interactive toys with personality. Definitely a hit with a 3 year old and various other children, including older ones. Looks good, strangely irresistible, withstood quite a lot of tail-pulling without breaking, and still working, in good condition, and played with 2 months later which is good for any toy. The popular colour-changing effect is quite fun when actually used in a chameleon, its natural home! Sticks well on smooth surfaces. A good price from Amazon but still feels a little steep.

We've got a quite content pet. The paint has peeled in minutes from unpacking, but I knew this from reviews and told the kid this will happen. We have other silicon toys where the paint peels easily so my daugher is used to that. So far it is her favourite toy. It is quite talkative, but mostly in great mood. Be prepared to welcome a new noisy family member:)

The Bright Light Chameleon is a surprisingly entertaining little toy. In a dark room it looks especially good, casting a gentle glow that is oddly soothing. The toy also makes chirping and squeaking noises, which may delight children for the first hour or so. Adults may feel differently. Fortunately, there is a mute switch, which is probably the most thoughtful feature on the entire toy. The build feels sturdy enough, despite its light weight and soft texture. The touch sensors can be a little unpredictable. Sometimes it takes a bit of effort to get it to respond, which might frustrate younger children who are expecting instant reaction. When it works, though, it is a charming mix of novelty and light based fun. It is not something that holds a child's attention for hours, but it does have replay value and makes a nice alternative to screen time. A decent gift that brings some glow to the toy box.

Great value for money - Amazon was £5 cheaper than elsewhere... Very cute looking and very entertaining with loads of features - Sounds, emotions, changes colour with each mood and also lights up to music. Grandson absolutely loves this toy as he is obsessed with Little Live Pets.

Have ordered these before as gifts but this time I ordered two and both were totally squashed inside so the plastic was ruined and the card ripped. Unable to give as gifts so very disappointed and won’t be re ordering

Very cute toy, my 6-year old nephew loved it. Different concept compared to other toys he owns in the sense that it has a more interactive and emotional component.

It's kinda annoying to say that but it's fun and annoying at the same time and I love music so this is perfect but annoying
