Great game
My grandson Loves this game. (6 yrs.old) It's not complicated to set up. The marble going through to various steps to drop the trap is perfect...works every time. The plastic pieces are durable and sturdy. The board is bright and colorful. Set up is simple and sturdy. It is his choice of game quite often. He loves watching the ball roll from beginning to end. I highly recommend this game.

great game, great price, catch some mice!
This was a very simple game to learn! I expected to trap mice, but I got trapped in the fun of the game! the game goes pretty fast and my kids love the different pieces and setting off the trap. all of the pieces came and none of them have broken yet. it's such a colorful game that we've played for hours! the only downside I can think of currently is it takes a while to set up and sometimes doesn't go off. it's so fun and we gain plenty of family time playing this fun game! I would definitely recommend!

So much fun
Got this as a gag gift after scaring my wife with a toy mouse. She ended up loving it and plays it with the kids.

Easy for kids
Definitely not the 80s version i played as a kid, but all the pieces were there, building it was fun, quality was good. small differences like theres no rubberband, you have to push it yourself to start it, and theres a new bucket system to get to the tub, but i enjoyed it. short games, easy to play with small kids, but an older kid would need to help put it together. trap works almost every time unless the parts are set correctly

Young kids will love it
First you need to assemble the board full of colorful plastic parts, which was a little confusing but all eventually came together. The drawback is that you can't (and don't really want to) disassemble it all to fit back into the box for storage, so you need to have another space available in which to keep it. Once put together, everything works well so long as it's on a level surface that will allow the little metal ball to roll easily through the course and end up dropping the trap on a mouse. The young kids (ages 4 and 7) like collecting the wedges of cheese to make their wheel, but what they love the most is sending someone's mouse to the trap and then watching the metal marble make its way through the maze and then drop the trap over the mouse. This is not so much fun for adults, other than getting a kick out of watching the young ones have fun. There's no real strategy or challenge involved to keep adults interested. You roll the dice, move that many spaces, and do what that space says or collect a piece of cheese - that's basically it. The game cost just over $15, which is a decent price for a game these days, but I don't think that I would have bought it if I had known about its assembly or game play beforehand. But the kids really do like it. So if you have enough young ones in your family to play, go for it. But if adults have to play so there are enough game players, you may want to think twice - instead buy "Taco vs. Burrito" (invented by a 7-year-old!) for a few bucks more and have a great game that both young and old will thoroughly enjoy!
