An excellent travel companion
Travelling across Europe on trains is great fun and this map is an ideal companion. Some people found it fascinating to see an actual map instead of a digital one. As will all maps, it depends on careful folding and refolding as it will eventually perish if not carefully handled.

The map to have
Very clear and comprehensive. Personally, nothing beats having a physical map to look at!

Very informative and a decent price.
It is a really good informative map, but I do wish the paper was stronger, or reinforced. Haven’t yet used it for travel, but after only opening it a few times the folds are starting to tear.

Useful if a bit flimsy
Great for planning European train itineraries. Train booking websites don't give you any idea of where you're going - or where you might go if you're feeling adventurous - and this map readily fills in those gaps. But the paper quality is a bit suspect - after no more than three or four folds and un-folds the creases are starting to open up. If I hold it up to the light I can already see the holes - I can't imagine it lasting more than a few weeks of regular use.ADD: it doesn't show the full route of the Bernina Express across the Swiss Alps to Italy - the line appears to stop at St Moritz rather than continuing to Tirano.
