All-Natural Mango Butter (15.9 ounce)

I’ve purchased this mango butter 4 times and have recommended it to others! I use it regularly as a moisturizing body lotion, lip balm and around sensitive facial areas near the eyes and mouth. It’s fragrance-free, dissolves quickly and really makes a long term, noticeable difference in skin hydration. I have sensitive skin and have not experienced any irritation or breakouts. It does come in a hard form, but it’s very easy and quick to warm up in your hands.

I love this stuff! I usually use Shea Butter, but winter has been extra dry in WI so i need a moisture boost. I saw this (and the extra benefits it holds) and thought I'd give it a try. LOVE it on my lips -- so silky! I just slather it straight on my skin (lips throughout the day -and- face/body before bed). I've spooned it into individual jars and placed them all over in places I frequent. (bathroom, bedroom, purse, desk...)

This was my first time purchasing Mango Butter from this company; unfortunately I why I don't like Mango butter. We normally buy Shea Butter and I have purchased the Shea butter from Raw Apothecary; which is a great buy. The mango butter is very gritty, and it takes a long time for it to dissolve or melt into your hands for a smooth application. If you rush the process, it feels like your scrubbing your skin with a pumice stone. It's not comfortable. I won't buy the mango butter again, I will get the shea instead.

I was using another brand of mango butter before that was much greasier. This has a grainy texture but not in a gross way, more like little crystals of moisture that melt once you rub into your skin. It leaves a slight shimmer that's really pretty and I am using it as my only body moisturizer. Lovely.

I had to heat it in the microwave in order to scoop anything out. It caused zits on the skin and smells nothing like mangos.I bought something I thought was similar to this a few months ago, and loved that product. I could no longer find that one so hoped this would be as good.I would definitely not buy this again. In fact, I'm throughing this jar out and it's mostly full.

I'm wearing my hair natural & using natural hair products. I had to switch from shea butter because it felt heavy on my hair. I'm loving the mango butter it melts in your hands. It didn't feel heavy on my hair. I'll keep buying it.

So I really and truly don't write reviews. I like or dislike my product peacefully. I'm writing this review because I was a bit surprised when my mango butter arrived with expiration date of 2018. Maybe I'm a bit picky but I like at least a two year shelf life. The butter was soft andd cream but the expiration date makes me a bit weary of purchasing again may look at buying direct from company.

I used this mango butter to make my hair and skin cream. It was easy to measure out and blended well with my oils. I will continue to buy this brand when it’s time to restock.
