Scent is not overpowering but does the job. They last for a really long time and keeps the mosquitoes away. You do have to handle with care as they will break be side they are thinner than regular coils but really love them! Good value for money

We were at a park, I think it definitely works with warding off flies and insects, not 100% sure about mosquitoes as they were not present at the time or this actually works. The smoke is what deters the flies. But the burn time is so quick that it became a chore to light a new one constantly as we were using a couple to widen the range of effectiveness about maybe 15 minutes, but we did have a constant breeze.. It did have a strong smell, it wasn't that bad of one, but it can overpower if you are nearby and inhale. I did not realize the plate was going to be HOT. I found out by being stubborn and trying to hold onto it for more than 5 seconds. Just don't pick it up and let it sit before you remove the plate. The ash will be hot enough to burn through our plastic table cover.

I loved these citronella sticks. They have a pleasant aroma that isn’t too strong or overwhelming, and they do a great job of keeping mosquitoes away when I’m out on the patio. They light easily, last a good amount of time, and the smoke isn’t excessive. They’re perfect for outdoor evenings or just to freshen the air. Great quality for the price. Highly recommend!

These are rubbish. Absolute waste of money. Unfortunately, I’m too late for a refund, as I was using up what I had left of a different brand, which actually worked. These DON’T STAY LIT. They break and crumble, because they are extremely thin and brittle. But even if you manage to get them lit, they stop burning within minutes and you have to light them again. Also, the main issue, our mosquitos seem to be immune to whatever this burns. You can barely smell them, either. My other brand was noticeable from 25 feet away. Honestly, don’t buy this stuff. It’s basically useless!

We bought these citronella incense sticks for our backyard, but especially to send for our family in Cuba, and believe me… they actually work. The smell is strong but still pleasant (very citronella/lemongrass), and it really helps keep bugs away when we’re sitting outside. They burn well and last a good amount of time, which is great because you get a lot in the pack. We’ve tried other options before, but these have been one of the most effective. Definitely recommend if you want something simple that truly works for outdoor nights.

I purchased the Citronella incense because it said: Suitable for indoor and outdoor use: Suitable for use in bedrooms, living rooms etc. Not sure now if I would necessarily use it in the house around my pet. The first time I tried it in the house most of the windows were opened, so it didn't seem to faze him. The next time the windows were shut, and he sneezed some. I went back into the site where I purchased the incense, scrolled down the screen and on the left side ---said Ask Rufus scrolled down to "Is it safe for pet?" Only review about incense and safe around pets, the people burnt the incense outside and the dog was outside running around. The Lemon, Citronella & Rosemary oils were a little too much for my pet inside but outside the sticks did keep the mosquitoes at bay. I loved the smell and was impressed with the results. I definitely would recommend buying these sticks, they do the job.
