Ground Meat Packaging System

I do a lot of smoked sausage so I started making breakfast sausage and this is a very neat handy little too to seal the bags would highly recommend this product

Fit form function as advertised, wish I had this years ago for the time saving convenience and ease of use for packing ground meat.

This has been great for finishing off bulk sausage bags. I store my homemade breakfast sausage and chorizo in bulk bags. This has been reliable for sealing up my bulk bags at the end. The tape is easy to put into the device and lasts a good while. Personally, I run my bag through twice, just to make sure it's really on there.

I bought a cheaper version thinking i would save some money. The cheaper one came without tape, and by the time I include the cost of tape it was nearly the same price as this one, plus this comes with some meat bags. I was really frustrated since the cheaper one was shown in the listing with tape, so I returned the cheaper one. I was able to get some photos of the two products next to each other. The cheaper one seems like it would get the job done, but this model is definitely nice in the details. Similarities: - The metal seems to be identical, same thickness & same surface LEM: - Real rubber feet - tape dispenser has a snug fit against the walls, I supose this would prevent the tape from getting slack in the line - The dowels holding the sides together are all metal - Serrated tape cutting blade (I can see its different, don't know which works best) Cheaper Model: - Foam feet - tape dispenser not snug, will fall out if the unit is tipped over - The dowels holding the sides together are metal on one side and seem to be plastic on the other - Pointed tape cutting blade (might be better?)

Little wobbly. Quick and easy to use.

Works well don't go cheap buy this one last a lifetime

I have tried to use other products like hog staples but they took forever. This made it so easy to close my sausage bags. I had to process about 1000 pounds of sausage in a week. This machine made it possible. I would definitely recommend. The tape seals the bags tightly. Hint spin the bags tightly before putting them through so you get a really tight seal. My kids helped it was so easy. 100% would recommend.

I bought this because we were butchering one of our large sows. I usually vacuum seal our sausage, but I knew that would be way too slow for this much. We were able to stuff the sausage bags straight from the grinder during the second grind saving time. I was a little concerned because I had a friend tell me that they use hog rings because tape didn't work well for them. They didn't own this specific brand though. Anyways after the first bag or two I was off to the races. We packaged 250 pounds of fresh sausage this way last weekend. We averaged one minute per pound or bag, literally. That's second grind, bagged, and sealed. The tape system worked great and is well made.

Simple, straightforward, well-made, and does the job well.
