I bought the combination with the broom and the dark metal squarish dustpan. The dustpan seems well made, and it's handle snaps together with springloaded pins long enough to hold the joints together until you press them in to take the handle apart. With the handle assembled, there was no play, everything was tightly joined. The broom, however, is a little wider than the dustbin, so dirt at the ends of the broom will not be swept into the dust bin unless you again use the broom to sweep the dirt together and into the dustbin. And the broom's handle screws together, but except for where the handle screws into the broomhead, all the threads are metal. I was able to tighten the whole with my bare hands such that it required some effort to take the handle apart. The other issue I noticed is that the front edge of the dustbin has a slight curve to it, such that the center part of the edge is lower than the sides. This might correct itself when the bin is placed on the floor--I didn't check for that. I instead placed the center of the edge against my knee and gently but firmly pulled down on the sides in stages--frequently pausing to check how much of the bend I had corrected. After three such tries, I had the bottom pretty much perfectly straight (I checked it with a straight edge to be sure). Not a big problem. If you try this, you might want to wear gloves, although I had no problem from the metal edges. But proceed slowly because you do not want to apply too much force which could kink the edge, so proceed slowly. I bought this to use on the cement floor of my garage, so a metal one is ideal for that environment. For those of you who might want to buy a broom separately, the metal dustbin I bought is sold separately on Amazon by the same seller, I think for $17. For the combination of quality and price, the dust bin alone is 5 stars.

Sturdy and works good at cleaning up the rakes that my wife blows. I also used it to hold up one of those blow-up Snoopy Halloween lawn ornaments. Just put a river rock on the metal pan and the handle through the loop in Snoopy and it worked. I like that it is metal and doesn't feel like it will break and it will stand the California sun. It's also neat that the handle for the pan part has a little plastic holder for the broom so it is easy to store together.

This product highlights the importance of quality, as it is made from cheap materials. The poorly designed broom head isn't securely locked to the rod, and the dustpan is wobbly. I will be cautious before purchasing this.

Looks good. The dustpan is just what I was looking for! The matching broom is grate to look at but frustrating. When I sweep the broom handle needs to be tightened constantly.

This was a great purchase, and has been really helpful with lots of cleaning around the house. This set is simple, cheap and effective. Really love the neutral colors too.

I have no complaints. This set is very sturdy, pretty much all metal. The broom is very tall - I left one 12" section off because it was too tall, so now it's 46" from bristles to top. The broom attaches to the dustpan for storage, if you want it. And, I attached felt pads on the bottom of the dustpan to avoid scratching our floors - just tilt forward a little to pick up dust - you have to do that anyway...

Broom was a decent purchase. The handle has to be screwed together and I have found a need to tighten them every so often. The Broom brush itself is very good and catches all the dirt. The dust pan has no lip so everything doesn't get scooped into the dustpan on the first pass. I initially bought it for my house indoor use, but it seems more suitable for outdoor. I'm now looking to buy a different indoor Broom.

It works! Space efficient and looks good. Dustpan is well made. Broom clips on to dustpan handle. I have my favorite broom that also fits on the included clip so it makes it easy to store.
