I recently bought the Purina Beggin' Strips Dog Treats, Original With Bacon Flavor (Pack of 2), and my dog absolutely loves them! The moment I open a pouch, my dog's excitement is through the roof. The bacon flavor seems to be a big hit, and the treats are the perfect size for training rewards or just as a special snack.The 26 oz. pouches are great value for money, and having a pack of two means I don't have to worry about running out anytime soon. Instead of a “cookie” monster, I have created a “treat” monster. This is one of our dog’s favorite treats. I wanted to teach her to shake my hand, so I would tap her front leg and when it was in my hand, I would say shake … good girl, pretty girl and then break off a piece … she would sniff it and snarf it down (that’s why I feed it to her in pieces). Anyway, now she sits by my feet and “pathetically” looks up at me until I motion for her to jump up beside me on the couch. As soon as she jumps up, she now (as she looks into my eyes) puts her paw on my arm and then my hand to shake. I say good girl, pretty girl and give her a piece. She eats it and does it again until now I hold up both of my hands and say all gone, no more. Otherwise, I think she’d eat the whole bag. LOL

All packages have arrived undamaged and are not defective; I opted to just subscribe rather than constantly having to go to the pet store. Also better pricing when subscribed which makes it a deal over store-bought.

The media could not be loaded. My dog loves the beggin strips treats. Like all other dog lovers, I want my fur baby to have a special treat now and then. I fully believe that if my dog could rate the beggin strips herself she would give them a 100-star rating. They are kind of big, so I usually break them in half. They are not really hard, but my dog does not always chew her food well and I am always careful that she doesn’t get choked. You can purchase different size bags, but the larger bag is the better buy. You can also purchase a smaller size that is referred to as “fun size.” I have always purchased the larger ones and have been very satisfied. I have purchased this product not only for my own dogs but for those of friends and family. My mom used to use them to give her dog it’s medicine by placing a dab of peanut butter on the beggin strip and her baby would eat it like it was filet mignon. I would heartily recommend these. Your fur baby will thank you.
