2 great books in 1!
I'd enjoyed "How to Fail" and was able to score an advanced copy of these two books, and I'm thrilled that they're now available together! I love that these are truly "equal" tales, yet not at all the same."Man" is hilarious, offering the same kind of comedy that has been in Aaron's previous books. If you loved "How to Fail" like I did, you'll love this. Having said that, this book is better than Goldfarb's first. It's smarter, more mature, and wiser about love, sex, relationships, and life in general.I devoured "The Guide for a Single Woman" in one sitting. Unlike the manly dude talk in the "Man" guide, this book is the author's attempt at writing a book from the female character's POV. And though it sounds crazy, it totally works. "Woman" manages to fill in all the missing pieces of "Man" while being a totally sweet standalone book in and of itself. It's spot-on about dating in New York, and totally hilarious. Both books are awesome, and even better now that they're available as one book. Highly recommend!
