Better than Pico
This RP2040-Plus micro-controller uses the same RP2040 chip thus compatible with the Raspberry Pi Pico but better. The enhanced features I like, 1. USB-C instead of micro-USB. 2. much higher output current than Pico thus it can drive 60 LED NeoPixel strip without external power. 3. onboard reset button. I returned it as it doesn't have WiFi support like the Pico W. Also, the price for it is higher than Pico W. For that, I'd pick Pico W.

Good drop in for a Pi Pico
I had a keyboard kit that used a Pi Pico, but I wanted to use a usb-c instead of the usb-micro that comes standard on picos. This worked as a perfect replacement and I just snapped the battery header off with some flush cutters.

A bit more room to breath and a bit more oumpf. Does the job nicely.
