Very good
Very good, will last a lifetime

Professional use
I’m a professional crop consultant and take over 2000 samples a year and this is my third one and this is my favorite hand probe it’s light and fairly sturdy with the nice wide foot peg so I haven’t had tendinitis since I started use this one they last 1500 samples (~15000 plugs) usually then wear out as expected in my sandy soil and not worn bad just barely measurable amount it just doesn’t hold the core in dry sand as well when it starts to get worn out but still works great in moist or heavy soil

ThI pedal broke right away
Great idea. Poor designed. Unfortunately the pedal broke after second time of using the tool …

Poor product and customer service.
The first day that I used this product the foot pedal bent. I sent a message to the seller explaining what happened, and to please just send me a new pedal, or I will return the item. I never received any correspondence from seller. There are lots of these soil probes available on Amazon, I will purchase one from a different seller.
