The Galaxy S5 is not compatible with this kit. iBOLT recommends the IBXC-33617 xProDock Connect Kit. Incompatibility is due to the lack of Dockmode in the S5. This is the iBXS-33604 model, which is intended for Samsung users that have Bluetooth music streaming built into their car. See our IBXS-33603 if you want the aux-out audio cable included. Drive Safe and Legal by keeping your Samsung Galaxy S4, S3, Note 2, or Note 3 in a secure, vibration free and easy to view position. Works with all vehicles.

Great dock
I've had this unit for a few months now, and unlike every other suction cup dock I've ever owned, this one has not fallen off or broken. I've read reviews that say there's adhesive on the suction cup, and that it's hard to remove. I haven't tried to move or reposition this one, so I don't have any experience there one way or the other. But if that's the downside of it staying put when no others will, I'm OK with that.I also really like the open design with the three contact points. It works really well with my Note 2, even with a fairly thick case. And it's easy to get the phone in and out, too. Just press upwards with your phone on the sliding point at the top of the dock to put it in, and then put your thumb against the same point and press as you pull the phone forwards to get it out. Simple. It's very stable, too, with very little vibration or shake, and has a couple of tightening knobs that make sure it stays that way. It has the flexibility to be used in portrait (vertical) mode, although it's really designed for landscape (horizontal) mode. Finally, I really appreciate the fact that the power cable is stiff, really stiff. That means is stays in place, ready to be plugged in, and you don't have to go fishing around for it. And the fact that it triggers the dock mode of my phone is a bonus.Update: I've lowered my review to four stars for the following reason: Running the power through the dock does something funky that keeps my phone from charging properly. With the power running through the dock, my phone will say it is charging, but the battery percentage holds steady or even goes down a bit. I can take the cable that connects to the dock and plug it directly into my phone, and the phone charges properly. Also, I've had the cradle for over a year now, and the pads on the three arms are almost completely worn away from the rubbing of my phone being inserted and removed.

It's OK
I recently moved to a new state and was unfamiliar with the area, so i bought the iBOLT xProDock Car Dock/Holder/Mount for Samsung Galaxy series. I have it mounted from my windshield. I use this mount quite often, pretty much every time I get into my car.The Dock'n Drive app turns my phone into a gps so that I can find my way around. It also has other features as well, such as the ability to use the rear facing camera to film where you are going while you drive. The arms that cradle your phone work very well in keeping the phone securely in place. I like their adjustment capabilities and have noticed that with or without a case on my phone, I can rest assured that my phone will be secure. The reason I gave this product 3 stars is for the simple fact that one of the rubber ends for the arms seems to have disappeared, rendering this phone holder useless!

Charging cable malfunction...Galaxy S4
I absolutely love this sturdy car dock! I especially love the app on Android that works in conjunction with the dock. That said...I would give it five stars but it arrived damaged and with a cable that won't work because the male end of the USB charging cable does not go far enough into the permanently mounted female end on the back of the iBolt to make a connection. I have to use my stock cable from my home charger to make it work. Also, the small black cover, which protects the junction of the cables on the back, arrived broken. The cover I can live without...and my work-around charging cable is sufficient although I'd like to have my stock cable back in the house. If the company would send me a new unit with a return shipping label, I would gladly change my rating to five stars in a heartbeat.

Good with some issues
This mount worked great and lasted quite a while (about 2 years or so). the issue I have with it is that the top portion that adjusts to secure the phone had some issues. At some point the rubber gripper on the arm started to crack and break off, in little pieces. Also several months back the tab on the arm broke off from the arms themselves, this was after for some reason it became more and more difficult to open the arm up. It was a clean break, as in the plastic didn't snap, in fact I'm not entirely certain what broke to cause the issue, but the tab no longer stays connected and the way it is made it can't be easily fixed with some super glue....

Great dock, but...
Am I missing something? This is a great dock for a Samsung phone. Yes, it's a pain that you still have to manually plug in the USB cable after you put the phone in the cradle, but that's because it's really a Universal dock that supports Samsung phones. My only real problem with the dock is that I travel quite a bit for work and rent cars for my trips. I rely on Google Maps on my phone for directions and since I mounted this dock in my personal car, it's permanently stuck to the windshield and I'm unable to remove it to use it in a rental car. The suction cup has an adhesive on it and that is what is keeping me from removing the dock from my windshield without potentially tearing the suction cup. When I received my dock, there was a plastic film covering the adhesive on the suction cup, but it would not stick to the windshield. The film wasn't very flexible and it wouldn't allow a vacuum seal to be created so I had to remove the plastic film. If the suction cup hadn't been covered with the adhesive, I would be able to transfer this to other cars. It works great in MY car, but I wanted to purchase a dock that I could easily transfer to other vehicles and I didn't see anything in the description that told me it was a permanent mount.

Nice idea but it doesnt work
Nice idea but with my Samsung S4 & my little sports car its just not going to work. The charging cable is too thick & long to place in my phone. In fact the cable is so stiff that you cannot easily put it in the phone unless you remove it from the windshield or dash in order to maneuver the cord into place to put it in the phone's usb. Getting it out is just a tough and scary because the more you have to fight the more likely you are to break the phone. Also, I installed the ibolt car app thinking that would be appropriate to go with the dock but no matter what I do it doesn't auto launch into dock mode. This means after 20 min fighting to get it into the dock I have to lean over the dash to find the icon & launch the app. Needless to say I will be returning it.

charging cable isn't much use as it's too short and stiff to use easily but as a car mount it's great
Solid car mount, charging cable isn't much use as it's too short and stiff to use easily but as a car mount it's great... bit on the pricey side though.Update: Car mount snaped just at the ball joint, considering I rarely rotated it it's disappointing. Lasted less than 2yrs.

Car Dock
Good little unit, holds my Note 3 in the portrait position so I can plug my phone charge in and it doesn't slip out of its holder, I would recommend this unit especially if you have a protective case on your phone as I do as it still fits in the holder comfortably.

Great product.
Delivered earlier than expected in a genuine Samsung box, tried it in the car the same day after i had downloaded the ibolt app and it was so easy to use. Would recommend to anyone as a quality product.

Phone seems to slip out every now and then over some bad bumps but it's probably because i have the Note Edge. Other than that, best phone holder i've used.
