I bought these to protect the surface of my work bench. It is a vinyl material, a little on the thin side but feel strong enough. The size is accurate. I believe the only way to "rip" it is if you directly push a sharp object through it. It is a good value for the price.

Excellent bench top protection
I have these mats on two of my workbenches now and I love them. They were easy to install and are durable and clean up well. I use double sided tape between these and the bench tops and they stay in place and lie flat. A great purchase!

Great stainless steel workbench top protection!
I bought a new pro grade Husky work bench with a stainless steel top. This vinyl top was cut exactly to the dimensions of the workbench top and protected the work surface while also creating more grip for projects. It was easy to apply and stuck to the surface and did not slide around without any glues or adhesives needed. Will repiort back how it holds up over time with heavy use.As a bonus its made in the USA!
