Amana Tool - RB-122 High Precision Steel Router Collet Reducer 1/2 Overall Dia x 3/8 Inner

I now live in Spain and bought some of my tools from the US with me. Getting a name brand router here is no problem, but to make it work with US products, is difficult. Thankfully, there are ways to do just that and this is one of them. I am very happy with this product and also very happy with Amazon for providing the outlet for workarounds like this.It's always a good day to use a router in your little shop, wherever that may be.

It has been very troublesome to change my route's shank size from 1/2 to 1/4. I then thought there must be an adapter out there, so I searched on Amazon and found this product. It worked exactly as I expected, now I am able to use all my route bits, 1/2 or 1/4 shank size on my router with ease. Thanks for making this Collet Reducer.

Works great, have a 1/2 and 1/4 collets for my router and had a 5/16 bit, this was the answer to that issue.

I read reviews and ordered the part so I could use a Dremel 1/8 shank bit in my router. It is built well out of metal and should last for a long time or until I lose it and have to buy another one. Used it to put stars on flags I made from wood for a total of about 3 hours run time and. If you follow directions and use a little common sense it works as it states it will. I will buy again with out a doubt.

This bushing holds very tight. I made a full depth cut into a 2x4 with a medium-sized 1/4" router but held in this 1/2x1/4 split bushing, and it never slipped one bit. At this point, this bushing is a lot better than the first ones that I ordered. Spend a little more, get a little more.

this solved a problem i had using some really small burrs in my bigger routers. i needed them pretty precise, because any runout would change the diameter of the channels i was making. like perfectly concentric. no wobble. wobble would mean the hole/ channel would be wider and the tolerances i was aiming to achieve needed to be pretty dialed in.this worked. recommended. amana is a good brand.
