I have been solving crossword puzzles since I was a child. I used to watch my Dad work crossword puzzles in the local newspaper, way before computers and the internet. As I got older, my Dad and I would fight over who was going to do that one puzzle. I have been solving crossword puzzles every day for decades. It is my go to activity every morning along with my cup of coffee. I can honestly say that these Mega Simon and Schuster crossword puzzle books have some of the best puzzles I have ever worked. And I have worked alot of them. They are medium to medium hard which I like. If they were too hard I would get too frustrated. I challenge myself by working them in ink, but I have my wite-out close by. So far I have bought 4 of these crossword puzzle books. I plan on buying all that are available. I love the perforated pages and quality of the paper. There are 300 puzzles so you can solve one a day for almost a year. But if you are like me, I do several a day. You may think the price is a little high, but these books are worth the price. By solving crosswords, you gain a wealth of information on alot of different subjects....trivia for sure. It also sharpens your mind, especially as you get older like me. Whether you are new to puzzle solving or a real enthusiast, you will certainly enjoy these crosswords. It can be addictive.

Crossword puzzles are proven to improve brain function, memory, and knowledge. It's like a Jeopardy round on paper with subjects like: geography, literature, history, science, sports, movies, tv, food, politics, pop culture, etc. There's also the satisfaction of finishing one (answers are in the back just in case!) Each book has 300 puzzles, keeping you busy every day for nearly a year. I've ordered 22 of them over the years. True story.

Previous editions' puzzles were far too easy with only a few moderately challenging ones on occasion. This new edition is much more challenging but in a good way. I have to work at it, but I rarely have to look up an answer if I persevere long enough. There is a lot more satisfaction upon completing a puzzle and it keeps the old gray cells exercised.

I like doing these- they’re challenging without being frustrating. I love having 300 puzzles so one book lasts me awhile. I like that I can tear out sheets if I’m traveling as the book is quite heavy. The only complaint I have is how small the print on the harder puzzles is. I have to use my glasses and a magnifier to be able to see the numbers clearly. This detracts a bit from the enjoyment but this is my second Mega book and I’ll likely get more when it’s done.

These crossword books are a lot of fun. Highly recommend it.

These are my favorite crossword puzzle books! I've completed 6 of them so far. I like the variety of difficulty and especially the perforated pages.

My mom loves crossword puzzles and I’ve been buying her books in this series for a couple of years now. They contain a variety of easier and more difficult puzzles and I’m glad the series is so big so I can send them to her for a long time.

Haven’t started the puzzles yet. Since I have done all of these books from 1 to 21 and have now purchased number 22, it would indicate that I eagerly wait each year for the new book. I have never been disappointed 😊
