I used one tablespoon of the dried seaweed and added some water to rehydrate. Wow--it really expands well, and it tasted great in my homemade miso soup. Great product.

There are many selections of wakame for sale in the area I live, the prices are affordable, but they were harvested in China.I decided to splurge and purchased this, and I ain't going back to that wakame I used to buy. This type of Japanese wakame has more of that "flavor of the sea", the texture is firmer and just perfect for miso soup or ramen. This is great stuff.

So glad I found this brand! It's as close to fresh seaweed as you can get from a dried product. This wakame retains its slightly al dente texture when reconstituted in cold water. It's pre-cut into a nice size to use in hot and cold dishes. And a little of the dried product goes a long way!!!

This product looks deceivingly small in volume but wakame rehydrates to a great volume so u have to use very little. Very fresh and good quality. Makes great soup

I soak over night. Chop up small and put into anything...soup, stirfry, beans. Then my husband doesn't know it's there but we still get the immense nutrients.

Quality, I use it for soup and salad.

Different than the brand i used before, this stuff has oddball sizes, is definitely thicker (which is nice), but is pretty much tasteless. Most unfortunate.
