Nice little unit for simple hobbyists electronics use. The temperature control inst very accurate, not by much, but that is to be expected for the price.

Arrived very quick and was packaged very well. Have only used to test it so cant speak of longevity but seems well built. Heats up very fast and is a bargain for the money. I bought it to solder motors and such on rc cars.

This product replaced my old Weller WES51 soldering station that I was unable to fix. The station itself is of comparable quality to the Weller. The pencil iron is similar in design to the Weller, but unfortunately the parts and tips are not interchangeable, so all my extra Weller tips are useless. The only gripe I have is the pencil iron's cord. It is a standard plastic insulated wire and is a little stiff. The Weller pencil had a nice supple cord that didn't kink up or get in the way. I am considering swapping the cords with my old Weller pencil to make the perfect product!

Pretty awesome little solder station. It's basic but it works and I'm super impressed for the cost point.I've been able to do a few small solder kits, repair a cars ECU, a key fob, and more with relative ease!I had to use my previous, giant, no temp control, iron the other day and wondered how I had ever done anything with it.

First time I ever used a soldering tool. I have no experience, I just needed to repair a wire for one of my child’s toys. Worked great, self explanatory. I would advise getting some type of holder for the wires you are soldering as it doesn’t come with anything for that and that would have been very helpful.

Soldering iron connector broke after 1st use.Metal is thin and cheap quality. Very disappointed!!I contacted Tiswall for help, customer service wasnot helpful at all. Told “sorry” they offered $8 credit.Yes, $8 credit on $50 soldering iron that is nowuseless. Absolutely frustrated, waste of money.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. There areseveral other choices instead of this company.I regret buying this soldering iron. Learn from mymistake, don’t waste money on this.

Bought to wire RC motors and it works fine but takes a while to heat up and I have to use it at near full power. Comfortable to use overall fine and cheap at the time of purchase.
