Attractive and Effective
We have an AGA but with this pool;onged heat and the high energy prices we had to turn it off for the summer. We love having our Espressos after our evening meal but our existing Bialettis ( we have 3 !) are the traditional type and don't work on an induction hob. So we bought this one. My tips are: Don't worry about the "open top", it is meant to be like that; DO use the small measuring pot for the water - if you put too much in the flavour is not as good, and it can overflow; I have found the on the induction plate 400 W is about right. (You can give a little time at 500W and once it is bubbling through you can reduce from 400W to 300W). Watch it, and be careful. The Flavour is fabulous - arguably better than the traditional Bialetti done on the stove top of the AGA).

Rolls Royce of moka pots.
The Rolls Royce of moka pots. Oozes quality and works like it does too. Have tried many moka pots but this is head and shoulders above anything else for making great coffee.

Good but expensive
Brilliant for making coffee but compared to a normal Moka pot requires a little more to take apart after use, assuming due to the pressure that’s built up inside. Also prep beforehand needs to be a bit more on point (i.e. weigh everything out and time) to get a great coffee as it’s pretty easy to over extract but if you get it right it’s a fantastic cup of coffee with more depth of flavour than any Moka pot I’ve used previously.

Perfect for induction hob
Nicely designed Brikka open top pot . A significant improvement over using an induction plate with old style pot

Makes good coffee but item shows signs of use!
Extremely disappointed to open box and find a used item (see photos)! Amazon did compensate me by offering some of my money back as credit to my account. Once thoroughly cleaned, item makes good coffee

Noce product, but care to be taken
Would recommend, but need to be careful of potentially burning oneself when it comes up to boiling.
