I was expecting more.
For the price its hard to recommend. Usually when you pay 30 bucks for a bit driver its feels over engineered. That isn't the case here. The plastic feelsCraftsmanship. Plastic feels cheap. Bits don't sit flush into the tool, like the magnet should sit deeper in the shaft of the driver. Shaft is cockeyed slightly coming out of the handle, as I rotate the tool it wobbles. There was a layer of glue/epoxy/something on the metal shaft when I got it that I scratched off and used PVC cleaner to remove.Design. It doesn't fit on some units since you don't have the clearance for the tool off the back of a locking cap. Its rare but an example would be a Lennox M# XP14-xxx-xxx-xx. If you run into this and all you have is this tool you'll be trying to use the bit with a crescent wrench and on a no vent cap that is a pita! This would be a great product for a manufacturer to hand out after seminars or training course. However save yourself the 30 bucks and look into an look into a driver with swivel end for the type of cap you usually see in the field. For me its 99% R410a Novent caps.I still gave it 3 stars because I'm still using it and it hasn't broken yet. I'm considering modifying it once I decide to stop whining about it.
