Celestron Labs S10-60 Stereo Microscope

Very good microscope quality and magnification. Reflection light intestity is not enough. I had to purchase external gooseneck led lights.

Amazing views through this scope. There is a whole nother world down there, so much detail!

Buena calidad de materiales, buena óptica. un poco molesto el cambio de los oculares y no aporta diferencia importante a la visualización de la muestra. podría venir solo un juego de oculares y costar menos.

The scope arrived with the 10x eyepieces mounted and the 20x included with the accessories. The eyepieces are held in place with tiny screws, which must be loosened with a jeweler screwdriver in order to change them. This unit arrived with the screw on the left side overtightened and its’ head was stripped, so the left eyepiece cannot be removed or changed. Overall quality of the optics is fair at best. OK for kids as a fun learning tool. (bought it for a niece in grade school).

Figuring that Jewelers/Lapidarists use a 10x loupe for their work: The S10-60 is perfect for meet-point faceting, identification, flaws or just looking for tiny bugs in Amber. Highly recommended...
