I'm using the top and bottom baskets separately
The color I received is not quite black, more of a very very dark bronzed color that looks black from a distance. I guess that's why they call the color "antiqued black." This was not too difficult to put together. Mine came with a top basket (has a handle), bottom basket, 2 support pieces, 5 large screws and 5 small screws (somewhat hard to differentiate which were larger), and an allen wrench/hex key assembly tool. I would recommend inserting the supports into the bottom basket, but not installing the screws on the bottom basket until you've screwed down the top basket, because this allows for a little adjustment which might make things easier. One side of the baskets are flatter so there is definitely a front and a back, so you do have to be sure you have the pieces in the right places. Having said all that, once I put mine together, it was too tall. It fit underneath my upper cabinets, which are 18 3/4" from my countertop, but I couldn't push it all the way against the backsplash because of my under-cabinet lights which only have 17 3/4" clearance from the countertop. However, you do have the option of leaving this unassembled, using the top and bottom baskets separately (just leave out the supports); so that's what I did and I like that option. If you don't need that option and don't want to mess with assembly, I saw basically the same basket at Dillard's for $24.99 and it was welded together rather than assembled with screws.

End result ok - assembly prolonged by poor quality
I am not one that balks at complicated assembly. Sauder or IKEA furniture is fun, I knock down walls & remodel without hesitation. Yet I f I deduced a star for every time I wanted to curse the manufacturer during assembly this would be lower. Once irritation ends I might be happier, but truthfully I only reduced on star because of the assembly issues, the other was because of the fact that once assembled the poor quality caused it to be lopsided and rock (see photo with penny under one foot - I ended up sticking a pad there to prevent wobble). He holes the screws should have easily gone into were not threaded correctly, or were threaded before the finish was applied and the coating gummed up the works in all but one hole. Thankfully there was one extra screw of each size because I destroyed one re-threading the holes. Once the supports were attached they did not come close to lining up with the top basket - so much so that I had to get my son to help hold them in place to work the screws in. Oh, and the mesh in the top basket extended into one of the holes so the screw would not fit - thankfully I had a round file and could fix that. (See photo). As I said, I believe I will like the end result, but am irritated that what I was excited for and should have bees no more than a 5 minute assembly ended up taking over a half hour, an extra person, and extra tools. Ridiculous.

Shoddy weld job= falls apart upon assembly
Seemed straightforward to assemble. Hard to distinguish the “small” from the “large screws, they’re nearly the same size. When I pulled it out the box I thought the weld job on it seemed shoddy. I thought this would be sturdy based on metal thickness, but as soon as I attempted to assemble it, the screw hole that’s welded onto the vertical post fell right off the post. Really hoping this holds up but I’m pretty disappointed at the moment.

Attach top basket in the CORRECT direction
Was not hard to build at all. Just don't tighten the bottom screws completely before attaching the top portion.. then come back and tighten them fully. ALSO make sure you attach the top basket facing the correct way - I put it on backwards completely by accident... however it ended up being perfect for us since we have to reach a light switch behind it and now we have hand space to do that.

It is pretty tall so you might want to look at the ...
I am currently using this as a fruit stand and it is so gorgeous. It holds quite a bit of fruit. It is pretty tall so you might want to look at the measurements and take that into account if you plan on putting it in a place that does not have much space inbetween the height like a bar area with a low light which is where I had my previous fruit stand and I was gonna put this one there but it would not work because of the height. The back is flat so it needs to be put against a wall or something to look right. It would look great with any décor and I would definitely recommend it.

Great if you get a good one
Great product once you get them to send you a good one. I can see from other reviewers that they are reselling the defective ones that are sent back to them. The first one came with no hardware and it had 2 left arms instead of a left and right. I put a note on it to not resell it so someone else didn't have to go through the trouble of returning it so I hope they listened. Once I got a new one it was great!

Heavy, attractive, and functional
The greatest part for me is the “FLAT BACK” so that it sits against the wall without taking up as much space as the rounded vegetable/fruit baskets; yet there is plenty of room in both tiers for most people’s needs. It’s heavy and well made. It really wasn’t hard to assemble, but a “little’ tight getting the screwdriver in there.Right now I don’t have much in mine (in the photo I provided), just some garlic and a couple of avocados, but you get an idea if it’s roomy enough for you or not.

Beautiful Metal Tiered Storage
This tiered metal storage rack is very sturdy. It can be used for various things such as fruits, veggies, candies, towels, etc... The only difficulty we had in assembling it is sometimes our fingers were almost to big to work in the tight space where we needed to screw it together. The black iron looks great with our other kitchen accessories & appliances. This fits nicely on our island.
