Early this year I prayed to align my life with God. Because God had been telling me that there where things I desired but He wouldn’t release to me until I came into alignment with His Will for my life. I wasn’t sure if marriage was something for my future, but I knew if it was something that God wanted for me then I needed to understand what God saw I was deserving of. After sometime of writing out, even making affirmations statements for my life and a possible future marriage/husband, and even praying for God’s Will. I was told about this about this book. So I had to go ahead and read it! And I’m so glad I did! It was like God confirming EVERYTHING I had ever prayed, spoke, sought and asked God about in terms of my future marriage and husband. For the first time in my life, (and I’m 40 years old, so this is a big deal for me!) I have found ridiculous hope for my future, my future marriage and my future husband. This book helped me to go even deeper in my prayer life and grow even more intimately with God! It really opened my eyes to the importance of not just praying and seeking God out for His way in this journey, but to know my own hearts desires more intimately. What matters to us also matters to God. I would have never thought that something that seems so simple of a read, challenges, and prayers, would change my life, my hope and my belief for my future. But this book really did! I believe everyone woman wanting to get married should really, and I mean truly and deeply consider this book to help get them ready. If you find it hard to start, then start with God first and have Him get you ready for this journey of praying and preparing for your future marriage and husband. Then come back to this book and enjoy the journey while God, in His own time, gets you to your destination!

I have wanted this book for so long! I find it really encouraging to use prayer guides! I feel like it personally helps me to pray better! Speaking to being in a season waiting, this book helps me to navigate that through praying. Because what do you pray for when you pray for your future husband😭. I was always confused and I got tired of praying for the same thing over and over again. But, this book really spiced things up spiritually! Im glad that I bought it because it has space where you can journal your thoughts and journal your prayers to match the ones in the book already! What could you lose by buying a book that will strengthen your prayer life in general!

I’ve always known that what I desire in life is to ask for it in Jesus name but that we first seek His kingdom and have a relationship with Him first. In some cases it may be His Will that marriage is not for some people but I feel I am meant to be. Despite how relatives end up; that doesn’t have to be me. . .the prayers were an eye opener as I’ve prayed the best way I know how to for my husband; thank you for this great words of prayer.

Update: I am Soooo in-love with this book. Here is why. It took me 180 days to pray 31 prayers contained in it. I started 7/19/2020 - and I ended my “last” prayer 1/14/2021. Life happened, I lost passion for praying for my future husband and I learned to re-commit to doing it in complete faith that if I don’t say something on behalf of my future hubby...our marraige, his (life and purpose) and relationship with each other and God would not be as strong. God formed the worlds by speaking them into existence. Everything in my life needs to be spoken light into being before, during and after. As you can see 180 days was not my intention. I thought 31 days eassssy. But it wasn’t. I grew. I re-committed and now I’m confident that God will honor me completing this book. Taking one prayer at a time, having a separate journal to write out the scriptures referenced for each prayer. And if I skipped days, I would note in the journal how many days since the last attempt was. I will always pray over my husband. This book was beautiful because I could pray before I have him for him. Loving and praying over him before we get married (wherever he is) is “weird” at first, and then it’s like a light bulb came on; Let There Be...was how God created creation. And we are made in His Image and Likeness. So we are responsible for speaking into our lives and giving it to Him. And He is sovereign over the timing. Not me. But He at least knows - I am waiting prayerfully and with somewhat composure (lol). I love this book. I am on Day 13. It really helps to pause and pick a topic to pray over my future husband. This book also helped me start praying over myself and my character as a future wife. And the Unveiled Wife posts I write down and they help me with praying over the type of marriage I would like, more fun, creative etc. I highly recommend this book to really speak to the future as you would like the reality to be when the gift of marriage arrives.
