Holding well
Works well, had a floorboard that the regular nails just kept coming up and biting socks. After watching a few videos on nailed furniture construction, figured a cut nail was worth a try. It's holding down the board and hasn't bitten a sock yet. Joys of old houses, need old school solutions.

Grips wood tighter than normal nails, look great
Like my first line stated, these grip the wood very tightly. I bought them mostly for the appearance, but partly for that reason. I'd read about that feature, and I really felt it driving a couple of them in for a quick repair. You get what you pay for, and these are definitely worth the premium price.

Drill first!
These are a little one the expense size but beautiful to get that antique look. I purchased the dark/black. Make sure you drill pilot hole first before nailing nd I used a small piece of cardboard on top of the nail to protect the head....otherwise you can damage the coating.

Shiny, great!
Perfect, they are cleaner and shiny like silver. Picture doesn't exactly show that.
