Rhino Rack 32132 SUNSEEKER 2.0M BLACK, Large

Sunseeker was missing the mounting kit! Went to prod. support page of amazon and was told to call or email manufacturer for defects or missing parts! Called Rhino rack and was told to call amazon. They said amazon should handle my claim not them, because I bought the product from amazon! Rhino Rack has very poor quality control that ships items with missing parts and blames amazon for sending customers incomplete items! I have read reviews of Rhino Rack not shipping the mounting kit with the awning. You think amazon will be checking all boxes to check if items that they receive from manufacturers are complete and not missing any parts? I don't think so! This just shows that Rhino Rack does not stand behind their product and does not own to their mistake! I was already inconvenienced by not getting everything and they inconvenienced me further because I had to return the product to amazon ( they do not have the mounting kit and cannot send it to me) and wait for it to get to their warehouse so they can credit me! Hoping UPS delivers it and it gets there asap. If I can give a negative rating for Rhino Racks Customer service, I would do it! I could have just purchased bolts and nuts from another maker but don't wanna be stuck with a product that if I run into problems in the future won't get any support from the manufacturer! If they cannot just ship me the mounting kit to resolve my problem, how much more if something major happens within the warranty period! Will not be purchasing any of their products and will be telling all my friends about this negative and horrible experience with Rhino Rack!

This thing is AMAZING. I wanted something to be able to get out of the sun during breaks and after rides on bike trails. The Sunseeker is perfect for that. I ended up going full Rhino Rack...bars, legs, and the awning itself. It was all very easy to install. It’s EXTREMELY easy to get set up, even for just one person. It’s sturdy, and does a great job of keeping the sun out. I have zero complaints about this, and would happily get another one for the other side of my Jeep if I ever felt the need. Just a great product.

One of the plastic connectors snapped while I was putting up my awning for the first time. I've contacted Rhino-Rack several times about this to find out if I can get a simple replacement piece but I never heard back. I was even willing to pay for the part and shipping. I'm very disappointed in this product and the company's customer service. I will not purchase from Rhino-Rack again and will pass my bad review along to my fellow camper community.

I have had other awnings before. This one is the best for the price range. Good instructions too.

I'm hesitant to give it a full five star review as it was a little awkward to set up by myself. With a little more practice, I'm hoping it won't be as difficult in the future. The fabric is great. Blocks the sun out really well. The legs seem sturdy you can definitely get fine adjustments. It makes me happy to be able to keep it level on uneven terrain. The 2.0m size is perfect for standard SUVs like my Jeep GC. It's a fantastic unit and I get a lot of questions from others that see it in use. I may have sold a few of these by talking with people about them. I would give these 5-stars if they pivoted down more so when you're new at setting this up, you won't feel like it's going to break.
