Good cabin filter
As soon as I installed it and turned on my AC the musty smell disappeared and the AC blew air stronger. It was super easy to install unlike all the other ones I’ve installed in the past. Most broke while I was installing them. It formed a perfect seal and it stayed in place by itself. All other brands would fall back down unless you attach the plastic and close it.

My whip smell good. Feet, sweaty socks, farts, take out. Kick those smells out of your car.
Smells, you can't my family's smells. I got gas, my kids got gas, our car stinks. Gotta freshen up my whip.

High Hepa filtration, somewhat flimsy bottom frame, no charcoal.
I bougtht this Bosch 6031C "Hepa" filter because the OEM Mann filter was not available and the Bosch description indicated a "filtration efficiency of 99.97% at 0.3 microns." The filter appears to be of good quality but is much less robust than the OEM Mann filters which have a thicker, almost felt-like filter material, and the Mann filter is carbon impregnated. This Bosch filter also has a flimsy bottom frame piece but the side frame pieces were stiff enough to get the filter inserted. Those side frame pieces are key. If not stiff, the filter will just scrunch up and collapse when insertion into the filter box is attempted as is reported with some other filter options. This filter was $18 and a Mann filter was only $12. In looking at other options there is a Bosch C3807WS filter that IS carbon impregnated and appears to have the same OEM felt thickness filter material for $26. I might try that next time if the Mann is still not available.

Change your Air Filter ASAP!
The Filter fits perfect! What a difference it made replacing the old filter, fresh air blowing. AWESOME!

Worth the extra $$
I usually buy the cheapest cabin air filters, assuming they’re all the same, so no need to pay a bit more. But this time, on a whim, I bought the expensive, OEM one paying double what I used to. Seems to be worth it - the fit is much tighter than the knock offs. I guess what air could, with the less tight filter, move around my old filter, no longer can. And considering how much cabin filters cost, compared to the rest of car maintenance, maybe I should stop trying to save on this part.

Got a cheaper version of this filter trying to save money and it was actually just a waste of money. These cabin filters are Audi OE quality (or better) and make a huge difference in the car ventilation. Once a year replacement.
